Sounds like someone has $ envy - A bit off topic............but, I don't quite understand the concern with what other people pay for baits? - Heck, I see guys driving a new Ferrari, Prosche or whatever around, and I'm happy for the guys. Lord knows I can't afford 'em, but good for those guys. It's great seeing them around. - Just like high end, exotic baits, I may not be able to afford them; but man is it cool seeing pix of 'em and reading the stories about 'em! Not me, I see a guy with a nicer car than mine, I hate him, Im going for the International Hater of the Year award

Ha, well if you look real close, theres a Spro Frog in his mouth. I didn't mean to catch him, I wasn't paying attention and he grabbed it. And with my Trusty frog rod "The Wonderboy:)" he didn't stand a chance. Once I got his head near the boat, you have to hurry and grab them by the back of the neck then quickly grab there tail. Of course that wouldnt work with, say a 8-12 footer

Back in the day I have used a zillion, which worked well but you have to consider the stress your putting on the spool shaft. Which slightly warped the spool on my zillion after awhile of use. I also think that the 400 sized reels are a slight overkill for bass, with 20lb and a long range cast you still have plenty of room, and we wench bass in. But with that being said I also swimbait saltwater, and with certain fish that technique just isnt going to work. Either the hooks, line or rod will give in, so the extra capacity of the 400 works well using 25-30lb test.

Alright I wasn't going to show anyone, but I suppose we are a tight knit little family right? A custom Eric Cartman inline spinner fish destroying machine, scented with chessy puffs for those finiky trophys, dont mind those other baits, they dont work, please no PM's people, this bad boy stays with me

Im a fan of the Rat Baits myself, soooooo Mickey when are you going to fill this void.....and to keep it true to the West Coast, it has to be named Rat Tat-Tat-Tat

Good one David, damn I wish we had snook down here. Any monster Specks lately? The water has been so low and dirty with these West Winds, its hard to get to certain places to fish.
