Maybe this will raise your confidence. I just missed a fish that as far as I can tell could have been a teener. Stop and go retrieve. There aren't many 10lbers in my lake, and this 1 definitely could have got 12-13. He exploded on it then shook it free. Hopefully I can go back there and get him again sometime.

a 10.5" Wake is a wake jr on steroids . This bait has a more realistic action in my opinion but mine definitely makes a good clack. Who knows though, maybe that subtlety on that bait will make it catch more fish then the rest. fish it and see what happens!

I talked to this guy s little while back and ended up losing his email. He injected some punkers with silicone and said they walked exactly like the wood ones after he did this. Has any1 on this sight done this? If so how did u go about doin it?

Im basically using it for hudds and maybe some 5-6oz topwater hard baits.

The olympus stylus tough is water proof, shockproof, its everything u need in a fishing camera. It also has a flash. Nice job on the fish!

U can try the daiwa z200h. I think its just a usdm version of the z2020. It has crazy drag and it looks like a pretty nice reel. I haven't used 1 to be honest though. If not, the conquest and pluton are great reels.

Sounds like a challenge I got a few fish tonight that I was pretty happy about, the fishings been pretty slow for me lately. I missed 1 on the deadlift that looked like a pretty good 1. Biggest fish landed today was this guy a bit over 5 on the bettencourt magnum rodent.

The ab rat is definitely a loud bait. you can hear it from the first reel. It also pushes a lot of water and has a really nice wide action.... I personally have had more luck on the rago generic rat, but to be honest I haven't fished the ab rat as much. I think you would be very happy with the AB. Maybe tomorrow I can post a video of the bait swimming. Ill try my best to

Honestly, the best hudd rod that I have used is the Low Down XH. But for a more standard rod, I have a Dobyns 806ml, and it took some time to get used to it, but I really like it for hudds now. Its got a really soft tip, and at first it didn't seem powerful enough for me, but its great for sweeping hooksets and it keeps the fish on. The rod won't let you rip through the fish's lips. As for reels, I use the TE 300 or 400, but my friend has a pluton and Im starting to really like that reel as well. I also now use flouro (Abrazx 25lb) and so far, I really like it, but I just started using it. We will see what the future holds

Hopefully Tuesday or wednesday we get something up were fishing a little tournament so hopefully we can get footage of that. I just haven't been able to get out on the water lately.
