I thought for sure that JT would hook a brother up with a pair of his lucky droors but maybe when he went to Vegas he wore his lucky green shorts and shart himself when he dropped 1500.00 in two days. Somebody needs to show JTsome love and buy that swimbait off of him because JT will probably be on the lookout for a new pair of lucky green shorts also. I know Rookie, if you find a pair that works for you that you will be sure to loan them to JT for his next video. That is just the kind of guy you are,hell you might even give them to him. Good friends are hard to come by and lucky shorts are even harder. JT some time it sucks being on the top of the world you have no place to go but down. One day swimbait hero the next day a zero. Good luck Don I hope you wack them at the night tourney at Don Pedro. Just do JT a favor and lay off the Freestyles or at least tell everyone you caught them on something else . If you don't rain on JT's parade then it might just hold off from raining on you guys that night.

I cant count the number of times that I have been night fishing with friends and by 1am they are asleep in the back of the boat and that is OK because after fishing from 7pm to 7am I have been known to drive home with one eye open and the guy who is with me begging to have me pull over and let them drive. It has only been by the grace of God that I have made it home many years ago. More than that 4.00 a gallon I will take my chances on the guy in the back scaring off the fish. I do love to fish by myself though then I can have 15 poles out instead of ten .

Hey JT can you believe that Don is already trying to steal some of your fire . I thought you had that title sowed up for sure . I still thank you got Don in numbers though. If I were you I thank I would take another trip to your buddies pond to make sure that you stay on top. Before you go though I would try to see if Swimbait Rookie would be kind enough to hook you up with a pair of his finest plaid shorts. To get to some of those killer ponds in Texas where the fat girls live I think you will be having to jump a few fences but man that would make one hell of an action movie. Just make sure to put some of that smelly jelly you been teasing us with in your hair and wear your favorite belly shirt. How bad do you want to hang on to that title anyway JT so I say man up and go for it. The chicks will be all over you after this video. I'm pulling for ya so don't let us down. May God bless our vets and those still serving in harms way to keep us safe. Memorial Day is a day to give thanks for men and women who were and are willing to put themselves in harms way to keep our Country Free. It is a day that should call us to pray for their safety and well being. We have many Vets that are home now but struggling to come to terms with what they had to see and do while again fighting for are freedom. There are Vets that have payed a high price and will physically and mentally never be the same again. There are families that have lost their loved ones that we need to thank, encourage, and pray for. There were Vets that came home from Vietnam injured only to be called baby killers and murderers. If you know someone that has served or is serving I would encourage you to thank them for there service and keep them in your prayers. If there are any Vets that belong to this site or just happen to come across this site I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service. May God Bless you and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

I posted this in response to Photos VS Cast-Catch Video but I believe it applies here as we have some High School age guys that are members of this site. Again this is not intended to offend anyone just to remind everyone that we have some youngsters reading what we post and truthfully a lot of people that could do without all the drama. Let's focus on that little green fish and help educate the young guys and others about fishing and make a few new friends along the way. Just remember one thing, its not about the fish but man they are sure fun to catch.

When I used to fish tournaments back in the 90s I used every vacation day I had to check my spots while there were few boats on the lake. I did not want to get caught fishing the water I planned on fishing in the upcoming tournament. So I understand why people do not want to show their spots on film. Don that is an awesome video that you posted years ago but I bet you regret it now. Anybody who knows Don Pedro would know exactly where you were fishing. If they did not notice they would have a chance to see it again when Bill did a show on Bass West. I am not saying that Bill was fishing there because of seeing you on you tube he is a pretty bright guy I would presume. But I bet that spot has seen more huddlestons and BBZS than just about any spot on the lake. I am not a very good swimbait fisherman I will admit and I do not fish tournaments anymore but I still do not like to advertise my spots for everyone to see. The politics in fishing have always turned me off. You guys will love this and I hope you get a laugh at this although I did not thank it was funny at the time. I used to fish B.A.S.S region 4 the motherlode lakes. I enjoyed the competition and comodory more than anything before and after the tournament. Well I lucked out one day and won my first region 4 tournament. A few weeks later someone started a rumor that I was gay and to say the least I was pissed and wanted to kill the guy if I could find him which I never did . If you listen after tournaments there is always someone talking smack about the winner or winners and telling everyone where they saw them fishing. Why is that, can we just let the guy enjoy the moment. My partner at the time started calling me the gay blade . I read a quote once from a very wise king whose name was David, he writes But I, like a deaf man, do not hear; And I am like a mute who does not open his mouth. Thus I am like a man who does not hear, And in whose mouth is no response. We have some very young guys on this site and they look up to some of you guys. I have seen some awesome things posted to encourage them to do good in school and someone even sent the young man some swimbaits which I thought was great. Most of the posts are great and you can learn a lot from this site but it bothers me to see people beating each other up on this and other sites. I am a mentor at Juvenile Hall and most of these kids looked up to their brother or father who was the neighborhood bully and that is what they looked up to and that is what they turned out to be. People are calling each other out to fight or dropping F bombs over a silly green fish. Is this really the way we want these young men reading these posts to act in school and life in general. I am not just talking about this site, but others also. I just hope we realize what we write and who will read it. If we have a problem with someone why not shoot them a pm instead of all the drama for everyone to read. We need to focus on the youth and teaching them how to throw swimbaits and fishing in general.They probably have seen enough drama at home they do not need to read it on here. Let's build these guys up with the positive things I have read on here instead of bringing them down with all the drama. Some of these young men might not have a father in the home and they are looking up to some of the guys at this site and Swimbait , not me of course as I am nobody special. It would be great to get some of these youngsters out that have no way of getting out kind of like a big brother type of thing and keep them hooked on fishing and away from drugs and thugs. Anyway sorry for going on but I believe we need to be watchful of what we say and write especially when we have youngsters reading the posts. This post comes from reading many posts from many sites and no one has called out anyone to fight in this post I was responding to old posts from multiple sites. Again sorry for ranting on. I am glad to know that there are moderators on this site and I am glad that it is not me. The best times in my life have been fishing and I hope to read more positive posts. We should focus on what we love, fishing and less on all the other drama that comes with it. Again I am a nobody who has hardly posted anything and this is just one man's opinion. If I have offended anyone that was not my intention and I hope the best for everyone.

Well I guess I am a poser because I had to turn to cranking to catch a little 4 pounder Wednesday night. I only had an hour to fish after dark and the bite was tough so I went to what I thought might put some fish in the boat quick and only caught one. I have never claimed to be a swimbait pro but I do love to throw them here and there especially the first hour after dark and at the crack of dawn. I love to night fish and can not wait to go from 7pm to 7am asap . I am like a crack head when it comes to night fishing. I just have a hard time slowing down. Reaction baits are my go to baits and then I will pull out a worm or jig if I have to. I hope you night owls have a great season of nightfishing to come. Swimbait rookie I hope your shoulder is getting back into shape again. Don I hope you wear out your shoulder on some fatties this year. And do yourself a favor guys and let your friend who fell asleep in the back of the boat drive you home in the morning. I have guys beg me to pull over and let them drive after I pulled an all nighter. The crack seemed to wear off when I no longer had a pole in my hands and I was not in hot pursuit of those little green fish. I bet many could post threads on their crazy drive home the next morning. Just got home from a great day on the water with both of my brothers. The fishing was just OK but it was a blessing to have both of my brothers together on the water and I thank God for that.

When I posted the fundraiser for Terry I was very tired I tried to go back and make the title say lure saver rather than fundraiser. I wanted to cover the cost of one of Terry's 3:16 baits so he would not have to sell one of the things that he loves the most. Terry loves these baits, he loves to collect 3:16 swimbaits. In fact I thank he may be a little sick if you know what I mean. He had to seek anger management after he did not get a 6in Freestyle trout. I thought the site might be able to help put a smile on his face. As it says on my post I never asked him permission to do this nor did I talk to Terry until the bidding was over. I was not sure if he would even accept the money from the sale of the bait. If there was anything shady it would be on my part as I did not ask Terry's permission to do this . Am I upset because he started buying back baits again soon after he received the funds from the SS White Herring absolutely not. When you give a gift with strings attached then it is no longer a gift. Who am I to tell him that he should no longer be able to do what he loves to do anymore because of one silly bait that he never even asked for. Terry loves to collect swimbaits and if he can afford to buy new ones well that is great. The baits that Terry has put up for sale now are some of his favorites. The man wants to get his line wet awful bad that is obvious because of the baits that he is selling. He is doing what he has to do to to get his boat on the water. Terry has invited me to come and stay at his place and he will take me out and show me around and brother if I do come you better have some batteries for your boat or you may end up where they put Jimmy Hoffa and no I am not talking about the swimbait. Do I feel cheated because of what has gone down? ( No way) Terry is more than a friend to me now he is more like a brother . It has been a true blessing to have Terry as my friend and it bums me out to read the things that have been said about him on this post. He loves to hang out and talk about his passion which is swimbaits on this site. I want to thank James Peel (Swimbait Rookie) for his kindness and if you feel in any way that Terry has let you down by buying baits soon after the gift was given to him well that should fall on me and if so James I ask for your forgiveness. Guys he never asked for all this as stated in my earlier post in December before he received the gift from James and I. If I knew that he would be called shady for this I would have never donated the bait I would have just have sent him a check or sent him the bait instead. I have had four hours sleep in two days because of this sick obsession that I love which is chasing after those little green fish. Vacation heck I need to go back to work to get some rest. Mickey would you consider prepayment from paypal, Visa, Discover,etc so we do not have to spend so dang much time on the stinking computer. You would know for sure how many baits and how many colors needed. There are so many guys who spend tons of time looking on forums for these baits and others you have made. I would love to prepay for two of these baits ahead of time and I am sure there are more of us who would love to do so. I believe this would help so that you will not have so many people frustrated. The same thing could happen again maybe even if you made 200 or more baits. The same guys could end up with two more baits and the guys who were unable to get baits might not be quick enough again. You can not please everybody but this might put a smile on some of the upset people out there tonight. I just hope after all of this that people understand it is not about those little green fish but they are sure fun to catch. You guys who did not get a bait today try to thank on what's good.

The question is who did not get one, who has been waiting to get one for ever such as myself. How many have been checking the 3:16 web site daily. Man all that time waisted for nothing and to top it off I missed out on a day on the water.
