Hey guys I thought that I would share my experience with the Bull Shad.I purchased and 8" Bull shad from mike and started fishing it..... first fish I landed was at lake casitas and the bait failed me, the swivel and hook came out of the bait causing me to loose the fish. I contacted mike and showed him the pics, he said it was the first time he had heard of anything like that happening to his baits. He had me ship him the bait back so he can inspect it. He sent me a new bait which lost an eye in a few trips, I contacted mike again and he sent me a pair of eyes and told me to put some epoxy to hold the eye in place. So this second bait is suppose to be good right....I land another fish and the tail section breaks while fighting the fish. I posted a report on another forum and mike quickly contacted me and asked if I would remove the photo because it was "bad for business" he sent me a tail and i had to attach it to the bait.I kept fishing the bait just to find it falling apart the resin was just coming apart in chunks leaving wholes in the bait which I just filled with epoxy. So I just stopped fishing the bait... I just felt cheated! I felt like a had paid for a bait that was not made properly, it felt to me like it was still in its prototype stages .I like to buy baits that I dont have to repair myself, or constantly have to keep contacting the maker to repair or replace. I dont mind paying top dollar for a bait that is made properly......and that is getting harder to find these days!
