i just put some new line on went out to the lake threw my 1st cast and snap...my line broke right at the reel. what would cause this? its never happend b4..and not to mention a 25$ swimbait is now at the bottom of the lake

That is the point of the line through design, by having the bait free from the hook, when a fish hits the bait slides up the line and it doesnt give the fish any leverage to throw the bait. And yes you need to imbed one of the points in the bottom of the bait when you are casting it to keep it from foul hooking and sliding up the line.

thanx, i was messing around with it and figured it out..kind of a weird design if u ask me. if u dont embed the hook wont the bait move up and down the line?

i just got this bait and i'm pretty new to swimbaits. how do i rig it? came with a hook and its the line through design. any video or write up could be appreciated

i dont have any baits to trade as of now being as i'm new to swim baits. lookin for the floating white,blue,green or lavender. thanx guys

All 3:16 baits are hand made by mickey.. He doesnt want to mass produce them and skimp on quality.. Bc of this he only releases a certain number of baits per batch.. They usually sell out within 10-30 min of release on his website.. They are awesome baits and well worth the wait, or extra money to get one
i can respect that, when should they be coming out with some more?
