Mine runs crooked, too. I have to really really slow down in order for it to run right. Seems quality has been an issue with their baits lately. I think I'm going to stop buying them for a while until this issue gets fixed.

Shipping was very fast. Products were just as described. He was very communicative and friendly, and he followed up on the arrival of the product as well. Overall, I had a very good experience with this seller. I look forward to doing business with him again. Thank you, Jonel Mack

Remember, it is a 6.5" bait with one hook. So, I would wait a little longer on your hooksets. Your hardbaits probably have two hooks; that's why you're getting more solid hook-ups on those and short-strikes on the RS.

I prefer fishing alone unless it is with family like my dad or bro. Nobody I know is as hardcore as I am about it. Most people I know would get bored after only 2-3 hours on the water. I could stay out there from dawn to dusk to dawn. It sucks when you're out there fishing, and your fishing buddy is getting a little antsy because he's tired and wants to go home; I hate that. It makes me feel rushed and that's not good for fishing.

Damn, you're killing em over there. Nice fish.

...ha ha you sound like a classy guy to me and at least you have some humility. After watching more of your vids I realized that I've seen your vids before when I first got into swimbaiting. I asked you a question in the youtube comments about a bait or rod or something and you helped me out. Thanks. I hope you stick around and keep posting your vids. I know alot of guys on here would really appreciate them.

Damn, I need to check the vid forum more often. Very cool vids on here. ...nice fish, Don.

Nice fish. Nice youtube channel, too. I was browsing your vids, and I noticed you have cast to catch video of fish being caught on all different kinds of swimbaits.

Product was just as described/pictured. Fast, friendly transaction and very fast shipping. Thanks, Steve. Mack

...crankin it down with a couple of pauses along the way, but walking/twitching it is also my most productive retrieve. Waking it on top is my least productive.

BWA HA HA Ha in my neck of the woods it would be a beaver. Or a damned swamp rat I was out last Sat night with my new LDC - couple of 2's right before sundown on FS shad and rising son, then got after it again at 0400 Sunday chasing beasts near a lighted pier - nada. But I did catch a fish on a sissy minnow so that's a confidence booster. Nice, James. Glad to see you're feeling better...and sticking lots of fish, too! I have had a drought lately on the swimbait. I've caught everything in the lake except for the green monsters. Hell, I even caught a drum with a mouth no bigger than a quarter on my 6 in mission fish. Then, last night happened...SOB.

I don't set the hook until i feel pressure especially at night. It is a little easier for me at night because i generally can't see the blow up, so at night i feel the pressure and drive it home. Yeah, I think that's my problem. I get real jumpy at night and forget about the fundamentals. Both fish went airborne and scared the chit out of me. Thanks for the advice. I'll check those hooks, too.

Went out last night. Lost 2 on the Baby Wake; one really big one, or at least it sounded like it was really big. I have problems setting the hook on topwater at night. Any Advice would be much appreciated. ...I need a pick-me-up.

I used to use a pink floating/trick worm alot during the spawn and post spawn. I feel like that color just really pisses those fish off into biting. I was able to acquire a pink FS shad and mission fish this winter, so, I will be throwing those in place of the floating worm this summer. Otherwise, I would say that it is just another color to try when all else fails.

I heard about some pros who put worm rattles in the tails of hudds when fishing stained water. I think these are the same guys who pioneered the 68 Special. I have some regular 6 inch Hudds, and I'm not sure a worm rattle will fit properly in the tail of one of those.
