Its a Floater, He doesn't do paint touch-ups and said that's how he "fixes" his so they don't chip any further.
I may look into having it re-painted by PIZZ or wrapped.

For the record, there are between 70 - 80 Folks out there with at least 1, 20 - 30 with 2 and 10 - 15 guys n their wives/girlfriends with more than 3.
So, Good Luck!

And you're managing to land a high percentage of your fish, and BIG hard fighting ones with the braid? I don't like braid for hard swimbaits, not forgiving, causes a lot of fish to come off, unless you're using a very moderate action rod, but then you're sacrificing in other important areas. Just my experience.
This was the majority mindset at the Revolution as well. No one used Braid, Seagar, Suffix some others i didn't recognize... Mono or Fluro only. 30 llb seemed to be the weight of choice.

What would be a fair price for both parties on a Bait with a couple small spots of paint chips?
Consider it Good Condition.
What if it is was New in the Box?

Colonel Angus if someone would have walked up to me shook my hand and said "Hey man we came from out of state and we were late and couldn't get a bait.." I would have handed you my spare, you wouldn't have even had to ask. I was under the impression everyone had gotten at least one. I don't need to defend myself but I'm a man of integrity and traveled to meet people, learn and have fun (which I did).. baits and fishing were a plus. It's a bummer those guys were late and probably missed some good stuff. I'm sure the man who makes the baits will make It right if you ask.
BTW the rod was 450 and 8'3" . I flew back to Florida with a round trip plane ticket that cost more than that. And heaven is my cabin on a lake that I built with my own hands.

I was the guy standing in line with you, when you told me about your travels. I "gave" one to the guys from Tulsa at the same price I paid 200 in keeping with Mickey's plan to develop the group and not alleviate folks from the experience. It was good meeting you, remember to reel fast and hold on tight... Denny

Looks like gas is $2/gallon by the lake. Dude had to pay $50 for the opportunity to buy the bait. He made enough to get 25 gallons of gas. Not to mention wear and tear driving there.
In other words, I'm not sure he came out ahead selling for $300. I know I would have rather hung onto it for all that effort, good on him for giving us all a chance to snag one without all that work.
Thanks and for the Record.........Diesel is 3:25 in Tx.

And the only reason I know is because one of my many friends there at Lake Fork yesterday purchased a few for me.
Was he the young guy with a Tattoo on his Right Calf? If so, yeah he was buying everything he could get his hands on, even a $400 Rod.
Guy was in heaven.. He may have to walk back to Florida with that 8'6" Rod. LOL

Thanks for the support, I went there to learn how to throw the baits and catch fish with the ones I have. To say I made money by only selling it isn't near the truth. I spent my Sat. 2 hours drive time each way, 75.00 in gas 50.00 to get in the doors.
Mickey told us he's sat on this bait for 7 years, didn't care what others did or offered, and continues to do as he pleases and only releases baits that are effective at catching fish, because after all they have a lifetime guarantee.
My only regret was not buying more.... to SHARE.
Drops the MIC.

Not sure it was one per person. People are getting multiple baits.
Fish these glide and you will see that you can fish them many different ways other glides can't. And they catch fish.
Initially it was one per person, one bait your choice. After everyone that wanted one was covered, he had about 10 left and he added to that with some Wake Jr's. There was also a few soft baits, Hooks, Stickers, Rods etc. offered.
When we got there a quick count revealed $15K in baits alone on one table, and all gone within an hour to 70 attendees.
So yeah a few folks bought 2, I didn't see anyone with 3 but not saying it didn't happen.

We got to buy 1 each 250 for the 7" and 400 for the 11" they sold out in minutes, then he surprised us with a few more Glides and Wake Jrs. and guess what they all sold out too.
It was really informative, well planned and great food and gift bag.
