Well i just had to go back out with the hudd again today Trying to get all i can in before the bite shuts down. Well there was another nice one waiting for me today. bombed it out and let it hit bottom. Then slowly started to creep it back in. Right as i was getting ready to make another cast i feel that all too familiar THUMP. i thought no frkn way i got another and slammed into her. She shot straight up and thrashed me with water! lol. I knew it wasnt as big as the one yesterday but pretty damn close! wresled her to shore and lipped this chunky girl. Threw her on the digi and she went right at 8!another prespawn fatty!. I cant say enough good things about the hudd right now its just been slayin em lately!

went out with my buddy to one of the park lakes today for some hudd chucking. Missed a good one at my feet a couple days ago and i had to go back to get my redemption. Well i defenitely got it! about the 3rd cast of the day i make a nice long cast and start slow windin it in. I just got that feeling im gonna get bit and i tell my homie i can feel it! lol. about half way back in i get that beautiful THUMP swing into her and major bendo! I knew it was a big fish the moment i swung into her. she started takn some strips of line and big shakes and then she popped up to give me a glimpse at her. Once her head came out of the water i started shitting bricks! lol. I knew she was gonna hit the 10 mark i just had to get this big girl in! after a few more grinds i had her next to shore and lipped that fat girl. she went 10.2 on the scale.I could tell she had a few trout hiding in her belly! lol. My first DD for 2012 im stoked. now i just gotta pull a teener out of one of these parks!

Went out to one of the lil parks for a quick session with my hudd. about 20 mins in i make a nice long cast to the right of me and start slow winding. I got my eye fixed on a trout snugging up on the bank to the left of me. im watching him the whole time while im bringing my bait in just waiting for him to get smashed. almost the end of my retrieve i look out about 3 feet at my hudd and just see this toad right up on it ready to inhale it. i give it a couple fast cranks and BAM she inhaled the bait at my feet. took a few strips of drag and a couple nice headshakes.tried to flip her up on the bank but she was a lil heavier then i thought and i only got half of her body out of the water before i realized this isnt gonna happen.lol.she hit the side of the bank and plopped back in! i thought ish shes gonna be gone but i jumped down and gave her death grip before it was too late!lol. she went just over 8 pounds! she was defenitely gorging on trout this week:)sorry about the crappy cellphone pick. it usually comes out pretty decent i think i got water on my phone from all the thrashin going on!lol

oh i c. yep defenitely some fat chunks down here. the only problem is theyve seen everything in the book and there tough as heck to get to commit sometimes!lol
