  1. I picked up an Ayu and Silver Salmon, the colors look really sick stock as do most megabass paint jobs. No desire to give the factory colors a go?
  2. Haven't received mine yet, just curious to know, how effective is that maghold for the trebles? Wondering if it's gimicky or do they actually hold their placement. I can definitely see how in clear water, having two dangling treble hooks may dissuade bass from committing. Thanks.
  3. My previous 2001 Toyota Tacoma had 365,000 miles on it. My father in laws 2000 Tundra has 550,000 miles on it. Neither of these trucks needed rebuilt engines or transmissions, only maintenance was changing the cat, alternator and I just replaced my factory clutch before giving it to my sister. Just picked up a 2014 Tundra and couldn't be happier.
  4. Raglan, named after a surf spot my wife and I honeymooned in New Zealand. When he's not licking fish, he's fetching ducks.
  5. It has a more aggressive glide than it's smaller counterpart the 178. It does glide wider though. It also seems to have a slower sink rate as well, a few of the fish I have caught on it have hit it suspended right at the boat.
  6. Just picked up one on jpangler $57 shipped. Considering that their 110's go for $26 seems like a great price for a glide of that size.
  7. Congrats to Beefcake_327 on winning the Donation Raffle. The real winner is this swimbait community that raised over $1,150.00 for a great cause. Todd's memorial is this coming Monday, and I will be proud to write on the card "From the Swimbait Underground Family". Thanks again for everyone who participated, Beefcake_327 please contact me with shipping info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STCP7_AsLV8
  8. Raffle collection period ends at 9 p.m. tonight. Thanks to all that have participated thus far. Drawing with you tube video to be uploaded tomorrow. Thanks guys. David
  9. Thanks to everyone who has joined in on this effort to raise funds for Todd's family. Yesterday was one week since his passing and I wanted to share a photo of items I placed on the water at the site of his passing. A photo with kind words, flowers, drawings his children made for him and 40 folded cranes for every year he was with us. Thanks again everyone for helping.
  10. Bass Floater $120 shipped. Brand new with Bands. Thanks SU
  11. *UPDATE* Due to the generosity of a fellow SU Member T Dot. The raffle winner will be adding 3 additional baits to his/her collection. He donated the following baits: Custom Bluegill Baitsmith Magnum Matlures Gill in Crappie OG 10" Bass Wake. Thank you so much T Dot for adding to a wonderful cause. It truly is amazing to see this take a life of it's own. I intend on letting my friends wife know exactly how this plays out, and I'm sure it will bring a joyful tear to her eyes. Thanks for those that have participated thus far.
  12. Thank you to those that have participated and to SU for consolidating my posts.

You can view the bait on the black market page under bb bass donation. The raffle will take place for a one week period. All that would like to participate will need to PayPal as gift $10 per ticket. Please identify your SU handle in paypal notes. If I receive $30 from a SU member I will mark it as 3 tickets and will put your name in the "hat" accordingly. 14. No longer taking offers. Bait to be raffled with all proceeds donated. Thank you!
  15. As mentioned in my Underground post, here is a near nib bb bass 250. I've only thrown to swim test. As much as I'd love to keep it, it means more to me to move it for a good cause. Taking offers on this until Sunday night. Thank you.
  16. As many of you have read on an earlier thread this week, a very close friend and fellow angler Todd Iwamoto was in a tragic boating accident on the California Delta last weekend. The bass boat he was riding passenger in hit a bridge support beam throwing him from the vessel. His body was recovered nearly 5 hours later. He was a cherished friend, exceptional angler and loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife and two young children. Coworkers and friends have established a fundraiser for his memorial. Todd wasn't the most devout swimbait fisherman, as it doesn't always fit for tournament fishing, but he was known to utilize a triple trout every so often for that necessary kicker fish. A fishing community is often more like a fishing family. Relying on one another for advice, information and as often seen, arguments. Still if there is one thing that brings us together besides for the love of the sport, it is the sadness we feel for a fallen angler. It is what binds us together, the commonality that we all share a great love that on very rare occasion may cause the ultimate sacrifice. Below is a link where funds are being raised. If the link is not allowed, please pm me for details. I will be also selling my only Deps 250. A butch brown bass of which all proceeds will go to my friends family. Thank you SU. https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/ ... id=2165720
  17. He was one of my closest friends. A good fisherman but a great friend and father. I've fished tournaments with him and his partner throughout the years, and they have run that stretch of water hundreds of times, but you never know what can happen. Life is precious, be safe and never take what you have for granted.
