    If you want a low profile traditional style pfd, look at the NRS Chinook. I have one for my kayak and it's great.

    I use the Cabela's Advanced Angler's backpack and it's very nice. I can fit at least 3 of the deep 3600 size boxes in it with room to spare. Plus Cabela's has a great guarantee in their stuff.

    I have one and really like it. I bought it without holding one in my hands, but if you have the opportunity to check different rods out in person, definitely do so.

    +1 for Native. I currently have an Ultimate FX 15 Tandem, which is fantastic in both tandem and solo modes. I can stand up with ease by myself and with caution with a kiddo in there. My next purchase will be a Native Slayer Propel 13 for solo trips.

    TW carries it, but I got a better deal through whatever website I listed in that review. eBay usually has them cheaper than retail too.
