I was using the floater hyper. Twitching and cranking it worked best. Also had luck on the slideswimmer super slow gliding about 10 ft down. Look for shallow weedbeds and your all set for giant pike. We hit these in like 20 ft grass beds off 40-60 holes. They come up for them and hit hard. Also throw a 1 oz spinner with 6 in paddle tail trailer haha its like a swimbait at that point

Went to Ontario with brother dad some other guys and Fishin JDM. Caught some giants on swimbaits. Caught these 4 with the deps slideswimmer in firetiger and the hyper herring. The gear picture was a collaboration with Fishin JDM gear and mine. Sorry the pics are sideways. My tech skills are lacking.

Mx modified a wake Jr...sanded it down, rounded it out added weight to it and it glides like a dream. All it needed was a facelift. Whatever he did worked unbelievably

most of them were on the 6" rapala subwalk. big glide movements were the key.
