  1. OP, You need to jump on this deal NOW....Douglas is a great guy and you will not see the price for an "ICE" ever again. Good luck, Brian
  2. Thank you and the same to everyone, Brian
  3. Richard, I received the herring today and it is great. Thanks again, Brian
  4. Count me in. I just started swimbait fishing this fall but will continue. In three months a got 32 3:16 swimbaits. I just can not get over these baits. Ponds are starting to ice up. I am on the east coast, Rhode Island. Thanks, Brian Bpvaughn@cox.net
  5. I have done many transactions with Richard and have not had any problems at all. He also helps me out with some questions I have had on fishing swimbaits. Brian
  6. I last mine on the first fish I got using a 3:16 swimbait. I have to figure out how the protect this lures from fish with teeth over the winter. If you have one at a good price, please let me know at bpvaughn@cox.net. May want other colors. Thanks, Brian
  7. Thanks for your time. I am new to swimbait fishing, wanted to change things up to get bigger fish. Came across your Baits and had to have one. Now I can not stop buying them. I finaly hooked a fish this morning but it had teeth and I lost a SS shad. I have a lot to learn about fishing the bigger Baits, but I will bet my PB next year on one of your Baits. Do you think a leader will effect the action of the wake or FS Baits? Brian
  8. Well I have been trying the get a fish on a 3:16 bait. I got one today, it crushed the SS shad, but it had teeth. So I lost the bait, not good. How do you guys rig these Baits when there are pike or pickerel in the ponds. If you use a leader can you please explain how you connect the line to the leader and then the leader to the bait. I was using 60 lb braid. Will this effect the way the bait runs? Well if someone has a black SS shad for sale at a good price, please let me know. Thanks for your help, Brian
  9. It has a couple of small hook pointers on one side and the typical small chip on the top of the dosel fin. I whould like to trade for a SS shad in another color in same condition. Email me at bpvaughn@cox.net for pictures.
  10. Where these sold by 3:16 or our they repaints? Thanks, Brian
  11. Thanks to who moved my post. I did not feel right to post in the black market before i had all the baits in my hand. I do not what to sell them for double. I posted above retail to retail, so the wake jr is $89 and if the bait I am trading for retails for more I will add money, if it retails for less the person will add money. Thanks for all the input. Brian
  12. Hi, I have an opportunity to buy some wake Jr at retail from a store. I do not need all of them and was just checking to see if there is any interest in trading for any freestyle baits 6" to 8" or baby wakes, before I spend the money on them. Retail to retail. White, Black, Shade, Chart. Shade, Kokanee, Green trout, Brown trout, Hitch Thanks, Brian
  13. How many post or reply need to be reviewed before that are posted? Because if I see something for sale it will take 2 hours to post "I will take it" or dose the IM work without getting reviewed? Thanks, Brian
  14. You catch 3 and 4 lb fish on the 8" hudds and 8" hard baits (trust me). So I say too, try to find that bait that gets you fish. It's hard for most to start off. It makes it harder when you only pick it up here and there or for a hour or two each trip. The best way to get them for sure is to ONLY fish them. It IS the only way to really figure out some things. It's the right spot at the right time, right lure with the right retrieve and angle and it's on! Be fast on your hook set, one thump and it's in there (at least when they want it) Oh yea, My buddy and I were talking today about why I hit more fish when we go. The only thing I do different is ALWAYS try to get as long...... a cast as I can, Maybe that's why. You don't need braid to get um, but to each their own. Some love it. I hate it. Oh yea, Are you banking it or boating it? Best of luck! have fun! Thanks. I will be boating it. I have a Champion 191DC Elite with a 200 HP Merc. I am going to try to only throw swimbaits, but the ice will be here soon. Brian
  15. Thanks guys for the help and information. I will pay attention to the action of the lures and try them with snaps and without. I am also going to try power pro and 20lb mono. I will be adding some Hudd and a lunker plunker. The lures will be under 4oz. seeing that the fish in Rhode Island are on the small side. I see some huge fish on these swimbait sites. My PB for RI is (3) 6.5 lbs. and PB for out of state is 10.2lbs. Maybe by throwing some bigger baits i can get that beat.
  16. Hi, I am new to throwing swimbaits and have a couple of questions: Do you tie the line right to the swimbait or use a snap swivel? Braid or not (i am thinking braid so i do not loss the swimbaits) I have a Okuma 7'-6" H rod and will be throwing mattlures hard bass and U2 gil, Castaic rock hard 6" baits, 3:16 wake jr and freestyles. Thanks, Brian
