  1. Sorry to hear about this Jason. I just sent in some $$$. Excellent idea here and great swimbait collection, btw. Good community of fisherman on this site. I hope this raises enough money to help you guys out. -Dax
  2. I pile crap into the boat like some kind of sicko hoarder but I inevitably get dialed-in to one bait and stick with it for the vast majority of the day. In all seriousness though, I like to be prepared for top water, mid depth (hard baits), and bottom bouncing (Hudd, top hook rising son, etc). What I truly question is why the hell I even bother bringing any conventional stuff anymore ... takes up a ton of room and I never break it out anymore. One thing I've loved about converting to mostly swimbait fishing is the simplicity of tackle, line, rods, etc.
  3. Great story. It's crazy how long they will hold a bait in their crunchers and never get the hook in 'em. She just didn't want to let that meal go until the bitter end.
  4. Looks like you guys have some awesome lakes there in Arizona. Freaking beautiful fish man. Great job!
  5. A little too stoked over a 5 pounder? Probably so, but finally got my boat back out on the water after way too much down time. Took kfc_rr out on the boat with me to Pyramid Lake here in SoCal and this is what we had to show for a day's worth of grinding. Wil was one hell of a coangler for both conversation and net skillz. (Thank you, Wil!) I've had that SS 250 for about 2 years now but haven't been able to fish it. Great bait, as we all know. I had short strikes and followers all day, especially early in the morning, and including a freaking toad that gave it a bump, then backed off and just stared at it for a second ... that will get the blood pumping. Anyway, finally got this one to bite about 10 minutes before the Sheriff pulled us over for staying on the lake too long. Who knew they closed at 4? Not sure how much the ticket will cost, but it was worth it regardless. As always, thanks to everyone on this forum that continue supplying us all with such valuable knowledge. -Dax
  6. This. (Don, stop reading, I know you love your Nitro), but to me this is a sad deal for the industry if BPS turns these quality brands into their typical, generic, not quite as good as the real thing versions.
  7. Insane fish. What is your state record in MA? You guys are gun'n for it. Dedicated
  8. Didn't get around to ebay yet, so figured I'd bump this one more time for SBU. Any takers? You guys are losing money not buying this from me right now, lol. $105 TYD. Thanks SBU.
