Yeah dude I had one strike today and I set the hook and just about smacked my girlfriend in the face with my ldc xxh. Long story short she really needs to move her face when I get bit after throwing a bait for 7 hours straight.

Fishing has been super tough lately, 2 fish in the last two weeks. Been throwing the 10" wake 90% of the time this weekend. Tomorrow there is storm pushing through in the morning and I think its going to fire the fish up, I'm fishing hard tomorrow and hoping to fire some big ones up. I'm ready, and so is my 10" wake!

I fished this bait for about 4 hours today, had some big girls following, I had one fish follow that would probably have been a pb, but I was dragging like 2 feet of weeds it wanted to hit it so bad but the think the weeds scared it off, I'll go out again in a couples hours and see if I can't fire one up.

Just got this bait, love the way it swims, hooked up this little guy on bubble gum pink, waking over the top of submerged weeds.

Cool, I wish someone would make a good swimbait that looks like a shark.

I've got few rods rigged up with 30lb mono, and I've been a braid guy since day one. I like how you got the stretch its just like a good rod loading up, but to me it just seems if you have fish knock slack into your line and screw up on a hookset where you just touch them at the end of your hookset your screwed. With braid if you screw up and just hit them at the end of a hookset you're probably ok. but that might also be my mindset too, mono you usually reel up the fish and feel weight and set, I have a problem doing that. I don't see any reason why not to fish braid if their biting on it, whats wrong with crossing their eyes, not giving them an inch and getting them in the boat? If your fishing really clear water and have to go to mono, then so be it, yeah I get more hits on mono, but It seems like loose more do to shitty hooksets, but it's also a whole different game between one line and the other. I just think with 10" wake you've got a huge bill a almost 7 oz, big hooks, when a bass hits it you need everything you got to get good hook penetration. I know probably a lot of people of hooked up on mono and copoly and I'm not saying it can't be done because I know it has been done probobly more times on mono then on braid. Its all a personal preference thing, fish what you want. I'm sure 25-30 mono/copoly is fine as well as 65-100 braid, just use what you like.

6" freestyle trout - catches everything from smallies to muskies this bait is awesome, catches good numbers as wells as good fish 9" slammer - if you can get a good one that swims good, they have done ok for me, nothing big yet, but gets hit for sure I've been on a Rising Son kick and just havn't thrown hard as much lately, lol the other day I had 5 rods rigged with different color RS, maybe I shouldn't be so one sided
