I got out for a few hours Friday night after work. I got my new 3:16 5" rising son''s in the mail so I decided to take them out for a test run. I only got one smallies to commit. It's not a big one but it was a lot fun. It's about to get remy good here. This fish was feeding on a flat in 10ft of water. There will be lots more on this awesome bait. I also had some 7 and 8 pound hybrids eat it as well.

Boondock the bait has been holding up pretty well. I have had 9 fish on it so far and the only issue that I have had was the magnet wasn't holding the hook as well after a few fish. So I started putting one of the treble hook points in the plastic some.

I had a good time over the weekend. I was able to get into some smallies throwing the 6" megabass magdraft. It was pretty windy this but the fish were moving up shallow setting up on shallow flats off of main lake points and on secondary points. my biggest was a 5.95 smalljaws and she about ripped the rod out of my hand. I have over the years enjoyed swimbait fishing but never really dedicated myself to it. I decided at the beginning of the year that I would for 2017 and its starting to payoff.

I have a deps 250 silent killer that I converted into a slide swimmer. I do have both feathered hooks, i was going to put new ones on but havent. Asking $185 that includes the pay pal fee.
