Went out with my brother last weekend looking for some fish for an upcoming tournament I have. We went into a cut that I know holds some good smallies this time of year. Picked up the swimbait rod and started slinging a 6" megabass magdraft and found plenty of hybrid striped bass. It lasted about 45 minutes but unfortunately my swimbait did not.
