How do you guys choose which length of rods to buy?

I want to get an LDC production but an torn between the MH and H. I have a couple questions about the two. 1.) how well does the H handle smaller baits like the mission fish and mighty minnow which weigh less than its 3oz rating 2.) how well does the MH handle baits towards the upper end of its 5 oz rating? I would love some insight into these two rods so that I can pick one up. Thanks guys.

I was looking into the 316 No Bull Frog and wanted to see it in action. I found only one video on youtube and it says it was made using the "line dancer tool". Just wanted to know how many of you guys have used the this frog and your thoughts on it. Also, if you have to use this "tool" to get that kind of action?

I fish from a boat just havent had luck getting them out with a lure retriever. Loosing a 10 dollar bait doesnt bother me as much as loosing a 100+ dollar bait would. I guess if it came down to it I would just go swimming for the bait! Im more or less just looking for the technique, and you gave me some very good incite, thanks! Any more advice anyone?

My main fishery is Lake Fork and I would like to throw bigger swimbaits. The only problem is that every time i have thrown a hard jointed bait or a soft body with an exposed hook, I loose it in the trees. Do I just stick with weedless soft bodies and big wake baits? Or is there a trick to throwing big exposed hook baits in the timber? I want to throw some big a$$ baits!! Anyone have any advice?

Hello all! I am new to the site and am just getting into big swimbaiting. I just bought several hudds (weedless shad, 6" weedless trout and 8" deluxe trout) for trying to pull monsters out of Lake Fork, any advice on fishing these baits (when, where, structure, presentation)? I also own an 8" wooden punker but have yet to get a bite on that beast. Any help would be great! I look forward to learning from you guys and girls so that I can catch more big fish! Thanks!! Reed
