Hey guys, I just wanted to get everyone's take on terrestrial baits. I know that the nezumaa rat has a great reputation, but since those are extremely rare. I was wondering what others think about other baits. I'm leaning toward a bigger terrestrial (more in the nezumaa range than the rago delta rat range). Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated. Maybe this will inspire Mickey to make a 3:16 rat

That thing is SICK! We've got lots of small terrestrials constantly in the water around here. I'm going to have to put my nose to the ground and try to find one of those. Again, AWESOME!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a used calcutta TE 400 (or something similar). I'm planning on ordering an LDC standard issue H. I've got a few weeks before I need/will get a chance to do any fishing, so I'm open to suggestions on reels. Thanks guys! -

I've been addicted to bassing for awhile, but those other baits were just gateway drugs. Swimbaiting has me hooked. I can't wait until my next fix!

FINALLY, I got my first swimbait bass today at a local pond. I was throwing the G2 Shellcracker on 65lb braid (straight braid because I ran out of leader). Bass weighed in at just over 5lbs, but I think 1/4 lb came from the bluegill lodged in its throat . Anyway, If I can figure out how to get the pictures from my phone to here, I'll post them. If anyone knows how to do it with a crappy older HTC droid, help a brotha out!

I have yet to get a chance to go swimbaiting (I started collecting swimbaits in January and School gets in the way of my fishing), but here's what I have thus far. I also just put in a pretty sizable order of 3:16 blue gills and Rising sons, but I forgot sissy! I guess I'll just have to put in another big order soon . Anyway, let me know what you think I should look for! Thanks guys!

I do plan on using braid (especially for my weedless hudds), but I'm open to using other lines. I also plan on using the top hook for most occasions, including the rising sons. I had heard that you want to step back your rod if you plan on using braid, but I didn't know if that was just a rumor or personal preference. Thanks for all your help!

Hey Guys, I am a recent convert to swimbaiting and I have a started set-up currently (I'm thinking I will upgrade to an LDC H and a Calcutta later this summer). For now, I've got an Okuma H. It's rating is very similar to the MH LDC at 1-6 oz. I was just wondering if anyone has used these and whether they handle the big hudds or the big rising sons very well. Any help would be awesome.
