  3. Bait is huge! Jimmy Houston was checking it out and told me he weighed in fish smaller then the deps lol, he took a picture for me https://instagram.com/p/BNA6_tHjgjw/
  4. ^^ Totally Custom made, that little boat is fully rigged, all electric, stealthy and fast.
  5. Damned it you do, damned if you dont. Lose by the sword Die by the sword LOL - Bass will spit out any bait you throw at them. When you get them hooked and grind em in, it makes a big hole in the side of their mouth so that jump at the boat could lose them. Very important you try to get them NOT to jump if you got em hooked keep it low, grind em in and keep his head down, never leave slack on a jump, own em or be owned. It changes everyday I recently had a day I was missing fish on the 8" rising son with the stock top hook, I tryed rigged it with wire leaders and crimps to get a stinger in the back and Lost a double digit that inhaled the whole bait my crimps failed right near netting distance. After some modifiying with different hooks and positions I am now more able to land more fish 80-90% hookup vs 25% - Same goes with any other hard bait, I had fish T-Boning the slide swimmer 250 so I adjusted on the water and doubled a split ring in the front and to my surprise I caught some more fish that day. Some days you just miss 5 bites and the next zero, the next day you land 5 and lose none. Its the nature of the beast honestly. Its what keeps us all coming back for more, everyday is a learning experience don't matter if your new to the game or a veteran. Its a puzzle and the only way to solve it is trial and error and figuring it out. Pay attention to your strikes and fish position, Why did I get bit there? Where was the fish holding? Ate it head first, T-bone or behind the bait? Did I set the hook to high and took the bait out of it's mouth? Look at your Rod, Reel, And Fishing line combo, does it suit your needs? Softer tip? Too much stretch in line? Not enough stretch thats ripping the hooks out and bending them? ALOT Of factors come in the play here. You need to have everything dialed in PERFECT to land a fish of a lifetime. On the water adjustments or some thinking in the garage for the next day attack is key. Also if you have clear water and pay attention and get a good quality pair of polarized glasses and look way back you can see em eat your bait which is very helpful. It may also be the way you are setting the hook so adjust as you go, I find my self having a different hook setting motion for each bait when Im really dialed in on a bite/bait pattern. On glide baits I like to set the hook and load up on em Mid-LOW Height, not worm/jig/hudd hooksets, I want to drive these hooks in to their face keep the rod low, load up, and drive those hooks home till she gets in the net. The best way I can explain it is set the hook at 50% angle to 25% angle low. Throwing hudds I want the jig/top hook to get the upper roof of the mouth I will set the hook at a 70-85% high angle position. Kind of hard to explain so I made a horrible diagram I like to keep my glide bait/ top water hooksets in between the 25-50% margin watching back my gopro videos (REALLY Helpful to watch back to see what you did wrong or right) even at around 60% Im still landing fish, depends on your natural muscle memory on hook-setting. Time on the water is the goal and your inner mind will tell you what to do is right. (Double up that split ring! Bend that hook make it wider! Adjust my hook-setting angle, Eat a sandwich! etc. LOL) If you are setting the hook too high, try casting out a topwater and set the hook at your natural angle or lets say 85% and see if it jumps out of the water, the same thing is happening there underwater and I find that I teach whoever is new to throwing swimbaits and they get bit thats the common issue of getting bit and landing. DRIVE THOSE HOOKS HOME!

  11. Been using the decoy egg snaps for years never failed me. The Berkley Snaps I had open once on me after a minor snag and a 10" triple trout slow sink was lost right near the boat as I was about to lift it out of the water Most dumbest bait loss I've ever seen. LOL, That was a very long time ago much before the decoy snaps even existed.
  12. The 10" triple trout floater and slow sink are the most productive for me. Caught tons of fish on them it's a PROVEN fish catcher. I really like twitching it with a pause you have to experiment but it would glide and dart, has a snake like S swim. Burn em, slow roll there's no wrong way to fish it. its a must have in my book.
  13. I also have frogs to trade I sent you a dm on Instagram
