  1. Deps Slide Swimmers!!!!! (in 115) sorry, hahahaha After I had purchased my first 250SS, I ordered these from an asian webstore thinking I was getting the deal of the century! Waited a few weeks, you can imagine my face when I open the box and its these little rascals! 115mm size of my finger. They glide great with a steady retrieve, and are perfectly balanced!! $40 shipped
  2. Purchased this on ebay, slightly smaller than a 175, heavy sink, top hook deps slide swimmer. bounce it off the bottom with sharp rod pumps and it throws a couple glides down there! Also glides nice with a steady, fast retrieve. Great for wood work! only thrown in the pool to see how it behaves. $65 shipped, paypal.
  3. TyLure Softglide 11" Bass pattern. I have two, can sell together for better price or individually. Great hardware, durable. good size. swim is a little too erratic for my taste, but great for spring! if you need a big glide... $45 shipped each.
  4. Mother triple is sick. It's not a snake action bait. Think of it as a tighter glider, a little more straight tracking for when the fish are swinging around too much for the glide. It's a fast bait so working it slow won't impart the right action. I've stuck like 5 fish on it so far, largest being 7. I love throwing it because it's so different. And oh yeah, on all mega baits I use a front feather. It makes all the difference! If you want to buy one let me know, I have a promo code for roman made products. You're doing it right by first buying the regular mother then the triple, it is a specialty bait.
  5. Adobe premeire. Expensive and alot to learn, but i wanted it for the long run. Kind of like buying fishing gear...
  6. Kevin H. form Canada came out for an Arizona swimbait trip! He brought his musky trained big bait casting skills and it earned him a new PB!! He was also newly introduced to glide bait fishing. As a guide, my most versatile and effective bait is the Slide Swimmer 250 by Dep's. It's rubberized outer coating protects the bait and the colorway from damage. Most of my fishing is target related and right now, I'm fishing rock walls. The cast needs to be tight and the pinning points are on hard rock points underwater. The baits need to be thrown into compromising spots with full confidence or you just won't have the proper angles to produce "eats" not just follows. I have complete confidence in the bait; if I tie it up to a XH Low Down Custom Rod with a high speed Daiwa reel and hand it to an angler of any experience level we will get a chance at a trophy fish. Most of my clients come from out of state as Arizona is a target for winter travelers and they always leave with an new found excitement in fishing and are looking forward to purchasing and fishing a slide swimmer in their home waters.
  7. Posse approved! Shaun bailey showed me this one, then we slayed teener stripers at willow beach...
  8. prices are at the bottom of the review....$100 and $80 plus shipping
  9. Kincanon Custom Baits Rat Review video and write up is up! check it out and read the write up for insight on how to fish this unique rat swimbait! http://www.mannycheeoutdoors.com/kincan ... at-review/
  10. Congrats Gully you monster!!! Big up to everyone who was there also! Swimbait Tech T-shirt in the mail heading to the Gully
  11. I thought the tourney was next weekend, because im a dummy. Did anyone get footage they want to share for the SU posse video coming up? Teamviewer ready...
  12. I did get help and I'm on the TeamViewer program now.. call or text and we'll set up a time to pass files with it! 480 201 6265 I put together a little footage for a young slayer, 15 yr old jesse olivas from AZ. Fishing frogs on the Gila River...https://vimeo.com/71170326 or search #BlackFrog on Vimeo.com
  13. SDbayBassman, of course brotha! I have our footage from my trip also but we missed most of the fish hahaha too much fun! We tried the ftp and it didn't work out so old fashioned mail looks to be the only way people don't have to download programs and portals to their computers and from what ive seen those sharing sites are not free once you move into more than a gig or a few gigs of storage. Video files take up alot of gigs...please correct me if I'm wrong, would love to have an easier way
  14. Thanks for the comments everyone!!! can't wait to see what gets sent in! for now I am going to try to get with Mike out here in az to see what the FTP setup can do for us. the other ideas are great but looks like for the size of files we will have the account style setups require payment, and the youtube one worries me with quality, it is always dumbed down on youtube... I will keep you all informed on what happens with the FTP, sounds free and easier than having people setup acc's and download programs onto their computers... It would be great to have the tourney footage, but the only problem is that puts me into a time of the month were I won't have time to get this done, I got some big game hunts coming... Geoff, what's wrong with your gopro? did you do the update? they all need it out the box, go to the website its very easy to do, I have no patience for these things and I didn't even have to use my A.K.!
  15. Congrats Andrew!!! He'll be getting his new Swimbait Tech Shirt!!!
  16. I purchased two sofltglides at the big bass dreams preview and have thrown one a little. It certainly has a shorter and less stable glide than the SS 250. It is bigger though and seems to be very resistant like the SS. Durability is tough to find in most glide baits and is part of the reason of the success of the slide swimmer in my opinion. The softglide would have a place in my arsenal when the fish are very aggro and want a shorter cut glide with more action. In my waters I saw this type of activity right after the first big initial spawning wave got finished. I was having to cut the glide short on the SS with rod pumps to get them to react...
  17. I'm happy with 25 pound berkley big game mono dave! The super purcell bros spooled me some cxx and that works great also, it has a smaller diameter per line class, so that has some benefits.. sink rates, bait action, line capacity, casting, sensitivity...
  18. Hey It's Manny Chee, and I love the Tech!!!! First off, thank you to all my supporters and friends, there's so many of you on SU!! I just don't have enough fingers to manage all medias so my activity on the forums is low, but I appreciate all the good words and vibes, and want to give back in my own way-- I'm going to put a video together for the launching of the Swimbait Underground Facebook page! It will also be up on my vimeo channel and my guide page website. I'm asking you to send in footage you may have to use in the video!!! Roll Call!!! I'm looking for: -footage of a group of guys/girls walking into some spots on foot -night footage, hard to get with a go pro... -I've seen people's pics of "no trespassing" signs, be sick to have that on video -urban ninja spots, golf courses, city ponds, jumping fences... you know! -of course, guys out on your boats killin it! -all of you that chase other fish besides bass on swimbaits -any other footage ideas that capture what we do as swimbaiters and why we love swimbait underground! It would be great if you could start sending it in to get working on the project, but I would like to have them all within a deadline of August 4th, that gives us two weekends Don't send your secret spot or other things you don't want my grandma to see!!! hahaha You can check my vimeo channel https://vimeo.com/user5612272 for other videos I've made to see if you are interested in being a part of all this craziness! mail footage in usb's, scan disk, any memeory card, or any other portable-type storage device. Add your screen name if you would like that to show up on the video. email may work for very small files but I don't recommend it. Some of you out there may know of better ways to share large data files (like dropbox) and I'm open to any help on setting that up properly for a group setting! Call or text or email, whatever... get in touch any way you like: manny chee mannychee@gmail.com 480 201 6265 1915 E. Mcnair facebook manny chee www.mannychee.com Tempe, AZ 85283
