Hey guys went out before work today landed a 22 lber get off the water and pass by work and there's no cars outside wtf call the boss says something happened cant open today. Sweet go home grab a bite to eat and off to the water again. Round 2 produces a 12 lber. Man I can't wait for a 30 lber

I'm using a te400 but any size 400 is what you want to throw the big stuff

What's a 8 in freestyle trout going for?

So I haven't been doing this as long as some members here . This is what I've learned I've been fishing 80 lb 832 suffix braid. When I first started hooking up I was loosing some good fish. Drag way to tight I figured 80 lb I could horse them to the boat. Wrong they where straightening out my 2/0 trebles striper fishing. I guess I could see a large mouth bass getting horsed in but when a striper gets a certain size they have a lot of mass in the water your trying to pull on. So I've backed off my drag a lot and my hook up ratio has gone up. I have enough drag to set the hook and keep pressure on the fish. Let your drag do its work. Stripers just have that crazy head shake that will straighten out those hooks.

First off gotta thank my buddy Andrew for introducing me to this site I've learned so much from everyone on here in so little time. I've been doing a lot of striper fishing been looking for that double digit fish. Fishing the river has been a huge learning curve for me growing up and fishing the salt in so cal. Well finally got her on a 8 in hudd. She went 18.3 and had the hudd deep. And I got it before the end for the year yeah!!!! Now I want a 30 pounder. Sorry don't know how to post pictures

Finally caught a green bass on the on the swimbait. Went out to visit the parents in Anaheim.hooked up with a buddy to do a little ninja fishing. Caught 2 on the nez and my buddy caught one on a baby wake. Small fish but popped my cherry. Sorry don't know how to post pictures.
