Came in. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Will give it a run chasing muskies tomorrow. It's a palmable reel. As wide as the big shooter/NaCl 51, but taller.

I fish the 9" cranking exclusively. I like to crank and wind as I don't have the patience to slowly wake the baits lol. No matter how you fish them, they'll get bit.

What makes a Deps 250 differen from an "OG" 250?

The weights are shaped differently between the new and OG. The new are wider and longer just a smidge. -

Awesome fish for sure. As with FishDr, I have yet to lose a swimbait fish to the barracuda of the north. All my bites have come from the rear of the bait, for now.

Get in touch with the seller and see if he would make it right. I had the same scenario as you: bought rod, received rod broken in transit. Only thing protecting the rod in transit was a PVC tube and rod sock. Yes, rod sock. Contacted the seller, and he made it right with me by refunding me an agreed upon amount.
