I have done it and it's easy. Just look at the exploded view schematic drawing that comes in the box when you put it back together. The drawing is easy to understand and shows you where all the pieces go and in what order they fit together. If it is confusing just film yourself taking the reel apart, then put it back together in the opposite order, but you should be fine with the schematic.

A few people have mentioned this, but I will repeat it; work out. There is nothing that will help you more than strengthening your body. You can take all the pills you want and try casting differently, but your muscles and tendons are the source of the problem so you need to work on them.

+1. The Calcutta D has a huge handle and that definitely helps to develop more torque. The giant handle is one of my favorite features of that reel and I almost hate to fish anything with a smaller handle now.

just wondering since you had a chance to fish it do you know the what the max drag is?thanks I don't know what the max drag is, all I did was fish it and I caught some bass.

Yeah, a new Curado is coming out, but not in a 300 size yet. I have heard that it is an improvement upon the G generation Curado and I have also fished the new Curado, but I can't compare it to the G because I never fished the G. It's a good looking reel and fits well in the hand. It also has X-Ship which I think we will be seeing more and more of.

I also hate it when you are fishing from shore and some old guy trolling makes a pass right in front of you well within casting range and is dumb enough to wave and doesn't even know that he is in your way and is ruining your spot.
