1. I'll trade you a knuckle sandwich for what's left.
2. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2877 Brooks, scroll down some on the first page of that link. Dude wrote a seriously comprehensive approach to almost anything. Just throw whatever you feel like, using the info he wrote. You can't get much more detailed.
3. Yeah, Its kinda true. Im just trying to get on the swimbait bite before everybody else does here in VA. I was trying to cover all the possible conditions. Im gonna focus on learning a few baits first. Your late to that game already lol. As for no trout being in your lake... Caught a lot of fish in that place on trouts. You want to catch numbers get out of there and hit the river. You want size stay up there. River you can also fish at night!
4. So does this mean you have his address/contact info? I have his number. If anyone wants it just ask. I believe it's the same person. He first said he had a 250 for sale and I told him I already bought a bait. Then he responded that he also had a hinkle for sale. Post that ish up so everyone can see his phone number. Fcuking dirt bags like him ruin it for everyone else.
5. I feel you on that. I grew up on stained water. For glides to work on stained water I needed high bright sun and no wind (like the worst summer days). Don't know why but that's when I caught my first glide bait fish and majority of fish in stained on those bluebird days. Maybe it silhouetted better that way. I also ripped or reeled a lot faster and stopped and paused longer. So that if they couldn't see it I'd hoped they'd feel it moving fast and hone in. Then on the long pause give them time to get on it. Again whether that's actually what was happening I don't really know but it worked. Now I live on clear water and really missing that dirty water
6. Then why would you switch from a hudd to a glide if you're catching on a hudd? You don't leave fish to find fish
7. I had my Lexa for a long time. At first it was great but then started squeaking. Further investigation revealed a bushing under the spool tension knob. Kinda poor so I upgraded to all ABEC 7s. That was great for a while until recently when the handle broke free from the reel itself. Might be a one-off issue but when I asked a few people I wasn't the only one to have this happen to them Pic below shows where the threads broke loose Just out of curiosity, was there excessive oil, grease, or even water trapped in the bearing area when tightening the screws? It can create a hydraulic effect (the bottom of the driveshaft acting as a piston) and if it expands from heat like going from your air conditioned house to fishing in the sun. It expands and lifts and something has to give so the screws that hold plate down threads let go. Also a common issue on screw holes that don't have an exit, putting grease or oil on the screw before tightening can cause a hydraulic pressure and crack frames or blow screws out. Calcutta TE and Millionaires have been known for that.
8. Sweet boat! Who knew people even fished their HPH glides?!?!?!
9. It will fit without a doubt. I just mounted one on my 806. Fits perfect. Looks a little weird because it's so damn big but it feels correct. No slop or movement in the seat. You'll be fine.
10. I have to ask. Why? Is it because it actually messes your bait up or because he'd rather you use what he uses?

Taste

I can say without a doubt procure is my favorite. I like trophy bass. I wasn't sure how well it actually was working and was throwing a shakey head into a school of bass (small ones) a few years ago. They were ignoring it or at best picking it up and dropping instantly, slathered procure on it and they went from not caring to biting and hanging on. Really opened my eyes. Now I use it on swimbaits not for an attractant like a shark to a drop of blood but so if a fish does bite and it makes it hold on for one split second longer it's done a it's job for me. I load the hooks up on my glide baits with it since I watch so many fish taste the hooks and that's turned a lot more fish into caught fish. I also use the Bang Garlic spray sometimes and all that really does is make me crave spaghetti while on the water hahahah.

Got em

I dig your cull tag! That's a freakin beast
13. Gettem! What you tryin not to laugh about in that last pic huh?
14. Some day you will try that with owners if you ever start using them, and realize why that is a bad plan. Its okay I will let you use my pliers after you rip your nail off You laugh! But I have literally like separated my nail from my finger and like creased perfectly across. Hurts like a BIOTCH!
15. Fish the baits you have, don't worry about the ones you can't get.
16. Nice. Let me ask... Why did you tag it? Work for/assist the state?
17. Clearly the Hinkle is worth more... I will get more turns per cast. What is RM trying to do? Skimpin me
18. It's amazing what hooks and split rings do the xss/suspending baits. The slow sinks I've only been able to get to sink faster without going to stupid small hooks and rings haha
19. Because he needs to make a living too. Building materials, shop supplies, overhead (electricity, water, building space, permits), paint, postage, website, legal, TAXES. I could think of more the list goes on. Everything adds up. Most of it is directly related to petroleum costs rising. When people say gas prices are rising it's not just for you at the pump. It's everything, the cost of manufacturing the cost of freight for the suppliers. Everything is connected. I'd rather pay Ken $5 more for a hudd so he gets more of the profit. He's probably making 30-40% of that $30 when he sells to TW and other retailers.
20. Fishing central VA also, the last couple weeks I would love to snag something like that just to put a smile on my face. Nothing wrong with that!
21. This guy! Forcing hudds sideways in that poor fish mouth
22. Dude awesome! I've been eyeing these an debating what size to get. All doubt is gone! Thanks for the vid and showing how wide they are. Really like that
