  1. Awesome fish, baitsmith is def top 3 favorite baits to throw, love those bites.
  2. It doesn't effect the swim, not even with glide baits, things pretty cool.
  3. I spotted a tagged fish on my waterwolf the other day. Lots of good information someone can get from tagged fish if they are managing a lake. But if you're the type of person that keeps bass I don't think a tag will change your mind.
  4. Everything is either sold or pending. Thanks to everyone that PM'd me offering powerbait for my swimbaits, I found what i was looking for.
  5. Roman made is like new other than I brushed a thin coat of epoxy around the joint. Roman made and glideator still available.
  6. The new powerbait isnt as durable, it falls of the hook super easy and noses up on retrieve. The og stuff suspends better and is built like a tank. BTW Deps and TT are sold
  7. I'm thinking about gluing the hinges together and selling it on eBay for $500.
  8. Trout stocking season is here so time to sell some baits and stock up on powerbait. prices tyd as gift 10" Triple trout ryan thirtyacre paint job $70 negotiator $100 i epoxied joint to keep from paint chipping og derps $190 glideator $60 only trrade id be interested in is for bertsmith magnums and/or og chartreuse powerbait with the glitter.
  9. Weird that the 2 most hyped Baits, Hinkle and hph aren't on anyone's "go to" list.
  10. I like to fish the Deps pretty quick so I haven't used the new 250s much because they all come to the surface for me. Add weight or get an OG.
  11. I have filed 2 claims with USPS and both times they paid out for the amount of insurance that was purchased. They didn't ask for any proof of value. Both times the items broke, didn't go missing so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Did you insure it for the same amount you sold it for? Did you use PayPal, that would be a easy way to show value if they ask.
  12. Where in east bay are you, I'd let you borrow one of mine if you want.
  13. Over the last couple years I've switched all my Baits that I use a lot to gammy RBs. I've never had a problem with them bending out but I've heard it happening to guys.
  14. awesome video, what did that fish end up weighing?
  15. I like the natural colors like everyone else but it doesn't really seem to matter. Most of my deps fish have came from flash trout and flash carp only because I use them the most and have the most confidence in them. Some days if I had a good follower see my bait a few times i like to switch the color up. I got a good one on a bloody carp color after he saw my flash trout 3-4 times. it's impossible to say whether color made that fish hit or something else. For how little I throw my chart back deps I've done really well on it. It's sometimes hard for me to tie on because it looks so ridiculous and I like to try and match what the bass are eating but it gets hit. Just buy a color you will have confidence in. if you buy a keta bass or chart back color for $100 bucks but dont like the color and throw it half ass you will be wasting your money.
  16. I like that golden trout, looks like the lightning trout they stock out here.
  17. It's a foil color like the butch brown flash trout but the back is more chartruess, much brighter than the US colors.
