i had that rod for 2 years until i sold it. good rod and versatile. i throw huds up to deps 250 and thats about it. never had the guide pop out on me

The glide on the 12" is pretty good. No mother or hinkle but it's not bad Im not sure how yours swim but mines didnt glide side to side very well. on a fast retrieve it swim glide up and down and not side to side. my sinks pretty fast also. maybe i got a bad batch

I will never buy from abt again. there abt glide is a big disappointment.
