  12. I don't mind anyone asking. I was on the dock and had set it down on a wooden box along with my bag and I was down the dock a little reeling in a fish and someone came up and took it and ran off. By the time I reeled the fish in and turned around to run after them they had jumped into the back of a truck. I'm so upset about it man. I work hard for things few things I got and this is a huge blow to me... They took my rod, reel and my gill. Luckily they were kind enough not to take my back pack. This is my local lake I fish it EVERYDAY literally. I've done this countless times and so does everyone else that happens to go to the dock.
  13. Website says sold out anyone have a hard gill they want to sell me?? Much rather prefer local pick up here in San Diego only because I don't have paypal. Just trying to stock back up on swim baits. Had my swimbait setup stolen from me today at lake murray while I was fighting in a fish.
  14. I do the exact opposite, that way if I don't catch anything, I know why! But really, some guys have the heart for it, most don't. A lot throw swimbaits to be in fashion, few throw them to catch the biggest fish in their state. If you're a swimbait fisherman, you will lose confidence. If you're a trophy hunter, you won't. Plain and simple. Well put my man!
  15. Jace Your face says it all in the first pic hahaha pure joy!
  16. So I used to have a really hard time getting skunked meaning it killed me and I noticed that the next time I went fishing I brought that negative energy back with me because of the lack of confidence. So I go to the lakes now and learn from each experience I write down what I did and pay attention to what I'm doing that way I can adjust what I do next time. I have a whole new outlook on getting skunked and don't take it negatively. I just slow down way down. This is what works for me. I also have learned to pay attention to weather moon phases and what the bass are feeding on at that time. Sounds lame but my catch to skunk ratio has gone way up. I also experimented with rigs and gear that really make me confident in my tools. Confidence in your gear, confidence in your technique, and confidence in what you take from the day of fishing= better fishing at least for me!
  17. I love the p line FC for its brute strength I've pulled pieces of trees up from the bottom of lakes for real! The problem I find with the p line is that after a day or two fishing with it, it turns to poop seriously. I like it as a leader cuz I don't mind changing my leader line after a day or two of fishing. Just my thoughts and experience with p line. Seriously you can yank a horse out of mud with it. I've never lost anything with the p line and I've never lost a fish with the p line just saying I don't like how it casts after a day or two of fishing
