PB on spro citrus shad crank bait

I was just asking to see what people prefer. I'm fairly new to swim baits wanted some sound advice from some people. Sorry for being a newb!

Man I'm glad this post got such in depth answers. Thanks to all you dedicated fisherman for sharing some knowledge! I think what I'm going to do is try and buy extra spools and fish each line with different swim baits and see which one I prefer the most. I had braid on my swimbait reel for a while but recently took it off while I was debating this question. I like the castability of the braid but ill give some heavy duty fluorocarbon a try. I don't know about mono though I kind of dont like using mono in any situation. I have snapped off with braid a bunch of times but I feel like it could have been prevented if I just don't sling them as hard as possible

Swimbo are you saying I should skip the braid all together?

Cool I've .been using braid for a while I lost a couple with both fluorocarbon and braid. I just don't try to chuck my swimbaits as far as I can lol. Thanks for the info everyone!

Does anyone in Southern California know why loveland resivour is sooooooo damn low... Went there today saw that it was superrrrrr low... Anyone know what's going on. Did they take it for the fire they're trying to contain...?????

Ive always wondered this same thing... but i usually dont hold huge bass vertically for too long maybe a quick pic or two. I definitly never pull the fish horizontally by the open mouth tho thats just shitty. Respect the fish you catch
