    Have had this reel on deck the past couple years. It's a daily driver for sure. Casts a mile. Need to pay bills 😞 - has some minor boat rash but performs great. Can't find these easily anymore as they are no longer in production. Geoff tuned it for me over a year ago and I've been keeping up with the cleaning and mainteenence as I should with it. $225 tyd!     I too apologize for posting about the hinge adjustment, I thought I even read from Japan a while back the hinge would be adjustable. Mine seemed to unscrew fine and I never even knew I broke the abs to do it. dont adjust them, read butch's post on facebook. Wish I would have known sooner.

    If you peel back the top and bottom of the epoxied skin on the black half ontop and below the hinge. You can easily use a hook point to push the pin out. Very carefully readjust them. You can also at this point open the top hinge a half turn or full turn to widen the action. Once you have the pin back in take a few drops of loctite gel to reseal the skin. Don't overdue the gel or you'll have a hard time getting the pin back out if you ever readjust it again.

    The bait is flat out an upgrade to the last version. The 250 will be as well. The spring system in the nose is amazing if you like to burn the bait, it sounds like wounded baitfish (very subtle and real, a resonation of the spring vibration inside the front chamber). If you stop the bait on a moderate to quick roll it will quiver as well. Less followers, more biters. Im stoked!

    9/10 - 7.1:1 - very little and minor boat rash, reels only a couple months old, almost brand new still. Has brand new handle and just oiled and tuned. No trades, just PayPal
