    Good rod overall. Threw 250 sized baits really well. A little too light for mothers or the deadtwitch. The 14 oz rating is not accurate, probably more like 8 or 10 oz max. I did blow out three guides when my line snapped while breaking off a snag. Took it in to Gary and they fixed it for free.

    Anyone know is the stock shrapnel knobs will fit on any aftermarket handles? I like the long knobs on the shrapnel but want a longer handle.

    One section of the river I fish for stripers is barbless and I've never had an issue with fish coming off as long as you keep pressure on them. Given the choice I would still use barbs though.

    There's also this cool thing called google. It's like a big ass search button. Just type what you're looking for followed by swimbaitunderground and it'll give you results from the forum. Works better for me

    Funding another purchase and these don't get much use so they gotta go. Calcutta is missing the knobs as I put them on another handle. You can get new ones from Hawgtech for $10. 9/10 cosmetic and mechanical. Comes with box. LDC is a 8'3" custom XH parabolic. Spiral to the right. Full grip with X Flock and a Fuji seat. Has a little rash by the hook keeper and some extra glue by the first guide (there when I got it). Other than that rod is in great shape. Looking for $225 for the reel and $250 + shipping for the rod. Thanks
