what was your reason on selling? just curious because i was thinking of picking one up -
Been on a mean skunk but finally turned the luck around and got to pull on something. I was striper fishing all night for like 6 hours with no bites. I kept eye balling this one zone just thinking in my head "there is a largie chillin there." I fished the ss250 the whole time. Decided to cut it and slap on the hud. First cast in that zone I look over to my buddy as I wait for my rof-5 to sink and say "bro, this is a largie for sure." What do you know it hits bottom, 6 cranks and THUMP THUMP SWING! Oh yeah the next morning I managed to snag a trout with the SS250 snag bait! Felt like a bite... Had my 807 bendo!

i am absolutely in love with the 908. The main bait I throw on it is the SS250. I out cast everyone I fish with, It's paired up with a cutta 400d with 30lb xxx izor. The only problem I have with mine(you wont have with yours) is mine was the first batch and with the reel seat they used its too wide for the D series cuttas so when I was first hooking up with fish the reel would wobble in the reel seat. I have to stick plastic from a 3 pack into it to make it solid. Im kinda sad I have to ghetto rig a 600 dollar set up but the rod has mojo and idk if dobyns will replace it. The rod is light as sh*t in my opinion I can huck all day. The butt is the perfect length and it Has a great tip and a beast of a backbone. I pulled in a 6 foot christmas tree haha. BUY IT, USE IT, LOVE IT!!!!

Even the best go threw the dreaded slump! I was on a 3-4 month slump!!!! A bite here and there, but when it happened.... it happened gooood. a 3, 10, and a 8.5 all in march. Super pumped now!

Good fish! I started out using the BB rig but then just started using a split ring instead of wire. You don't have to worry about the split ring breaking. -
