I've had the hook hangers twisted sideways by stripers on my OGs and twisted them back a few times with no issues. If you're only doing it once you should be fine. Like any metal it will weaken it with repetition. You won't have nearly as much leverage on the line tie as the hook hangers and I've twisted them back into place about 3x on one of my baits and it is still solid. I would caution you though that it is going to depend on how bad it is twisted or turned. Curious what the others have to say, I know i've chatted with a few guys about the twisted line ties from stripers and we've all had success just bending back.

there are some black backs out there from an old run, not a color i've seen produced in years but I have one so I can vouch that they were produced for sure.

ill be nice to you one time and one time only. if you REALLY only have a messed up eyelet do yourself and dobyns a favor and take it to a rod repair shop and have them put on a new eyelet for you, it will save you money, time, hassle, and will be good as new. it will probably cost you about 10 bucks.

that's an original wake right there, from like waaaaaaaaaay back. tail is different and the color and black spots is super unique to those early baits.

my advice was the best - you just don't want to face reality. ten trips with no fish? Maybe bass pro shops "the strike" just isn't for you. some people just can't get used to the controller layout.
