Anyone know where to get reasonably priced handles and spools and such for a cardiff 300? I've seen the japan tackle but they are all over 100 bucks. Wich is 3 times more than I paid for the reel

I've got one coming out soon that I think yall will like

Just want to try something new. I love my lews too

Ok changing direction. Just talked to lews, apparently they are coming out with a bb2 made for big baits. Same as the bb1 with a bigger spool and I assume beefed up components. Coming out in a month or so. Guess im gunna hold off for that to come out.

But see I have an original tour edition pt. The blue one. It is solid as a freaking rock since the day I got it. I do think the lower end reels suck but the higher end ones are built well. And I can get one for about half retail right now so its about the same price as a lexa. Its lighter and holds more line.

Anyone tried it? I like quantum and I really like how light this reel is but can it hold up to chunking big baits? 2-10oz

Do you ever have a problem with the soft tails messing up the hard baits?
-
Deltaman, this one I sanded down a little but didn't strip down to wood. I have striped a few punkers. But its all up to you, the customer.

Facepunch, dunno if I know you. But I'm not trying to be a douche. I just think people shouldn't try to copy what someone else has already done quite well. Make something new, build on other peoples ideas, advance the hobby a little! I think everyone should be making there own baits. But what I see here is plain old plagiarism!
