For 25 years I have stored all my gear in my garage except for line and have never had an issue. I live in the Coachella valley where summer temps are 110-120. -

Yes it has the silicone skin but the color/paint is missing in that spot. Not sure how it happened but it did. Maybe happened in production? Like I said not sure how it happened but it's there. -
To be honest I'm not really sure. Hopefully someone can chime in and help.
