I shouldn't be selling this but everything is for sale at the right price. This was a silent killer that i converted myself. I got the weights from Don Nguyen so its actual lead and not putty. Then i sent it to be wrapped by deefeesha. I removed the hook hangers and pinned spro swivels with devcon 2 ton. I also removed the tail section to remove the tail weight so i didnt cut the back hole bigger to remove it. You would never know it was a silent killer. Message me offers and i might let it go.

You could try boiling it. Just dont get it on the part where its glued. Thats how i remove the tail. Boil it to soften the glue and you can peel it right off. I would boil the water turn it off put the part thats bent in for a couple minutes and let it hang.

I bought a 8" weedless when they first came out and it wouldn't swim at slow speed. Emailed ken and right away he responded and said to send it back. So i did, 2 years went by and about 5 emails. Needless to say i got 2 weedless baits in return 2 years later.

I wouldn't trim the skin. sounds like the hinge pins are bent. try with a pair of needle nose to push it over to the side that has more travel.

either you use light line or you havent hooked anything over 5lbs.

its kind of hit or miss with the slammers. ive gone thru a dozen or so. now im down to 3 that swim well.

HAHA i lost a triple trout and a bull shad when i thought it was cool to use braid. knock on wood havent lost a bait in a good while.

i say for getting your feet wet... you can get all of these baits new for around $100 total 1. bbz1 8" slow sink 2. ms slammer med or LG 3. 8" hudd 5 or 12

I used splitring pliers. Put the part with the point in between the lead and the plastic squeze amd it will pop loose then pull down. -
As title says. Not really concerned on color. Cheaper the better.

Well didnt catch any fish but managed to get my bait hung up then slipped and fell in the water trying to get it free. Then dank a little too much and puked all over...the end.

Mine came out fairly easy with needle nose. -
Theres some pigs by roadrunner that only eat left over bacon and eggs lol. I have a small slammer and some small rat baits im going to see what happens.
