  2. I have a Perception Bimini 15 and I loved it. Extremely fast. However, I just upgraded to the Hobie 9 Sport. The mirage drive and I will never be able to go back. My advice would be to look on Craigslist and find one that you can stand up in.

  5. Anyone heard of these baits? Seem him post on instagram and wanted to get a few peoples interest. He sells an 11" glide for $120 unpainted.
  6. Someone is selling one on the black market for $20
  7. Looks like I just decided on my next purchase as well
  8. Thank you very much And yes, this is the goldfish color
  9. Been trying to upload the videos but cant seem to figure it out. I put the links to the youtube videos below. I read the HOW TO and it doesnt seem to be working. I also made some changes and added the 9" tail instead. Had to cut it shorter but it splashes more on the wake.
  10. I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this but I added a slammer tail to the mini slammer. I just ripped the old tail out, cut a slit and cut the 7" slammer tail to fit. It swims really well. What do you guys think?
  11. Got this bait tuned to not turn over on the retrieve. Bait still tracks left but I'm not worried about that since everyone seems to still catch fish. Thanks again guys!
  12. The tracking isn't the issue. The biggest issue is that it turns over which makes me think it isn't a crank down. I'd be super happy if I tune it and it's a crank down!
  13. Hey guys, did some searching and didn't find anything on this topic. I have two 9" slammers. One is visibly thinner then the other. The one that is thinner also is about 1/2" shorter. The bill on the smaller one is also smaller. I have a 7" slammer as well and it is not a 7" slammer. Is this common with the baits? The one that is larger was just made in 2014. Next question, the larger one has a tendency to roll on me if I crank it to fast. Is it possible for fix that? Thanks for any info
  14. Nope. More what is the inside the body made of?
  15. Does anyone know what the inside of the bait is made out of? I have an idea for a mod but would like to know what I'm getting into before I cut. Thanks for the info.
  16. Thank you for the tip! Will be trying this today.

    Great buyer as well!
  18. I can guarantee you something is goofy with my casting stroke. Grew up throwing a flyrod. Decided to try out swim bait fishing last year and now I cant stop...And I thought flyfishing was expensive
  19. I'll try thumbing it more. If that doesn't help I'll use a shorter shank. Thank you guys!
  20. 20lb big game. The only rod that I have is a Guide Select 7'11" heavy and Lexa 300
  21. Fished my mini slammer last night and about 1/4 of the casts the line got caught on the hook. I thought about putting a smaller split ring and shorter hook (it's the stock stuff now) but read that you want a large hook because there is only one hook on this bait. Any thoughts to prevent this?
