  1. Bump for the night crew. Really need gone for a new purchase
  2. Did a better sink rate test today as well. The moderate sink drops at about 1 1/2 feet a second
  3. WTS my Big Hammers (10 x 9", 4 x 6.5", 14 x 4"), Lead Heads and Warbait heads. Asking $40 shipped. I might be open to trades so let me know what you got. You can either text me at 562-371-5714 or shoot me a Pm. Thanks for looking.
  4. Here is the size difference between the 12", 8" and 6" models. Have yet to fish the 12" and 6" but once I do I will try and put together a post in the User Review section.
  5. A simple Google search will answer this question. However, the silent killer is the one that comes standard with the bill. The slideswimmer comes standard without a bill and weighted differently. Just to cause confusion. The silent killer can be converted into a slide swimmer. You can find more information about that by using the handy search bar
  6. Got the bait today and threw it in the pool. I got the moderate sink and it gets down to about 4 feet in 2 seconds. Furthermore, I may have jumped the gun on this bait as my Okuma IM8 can not handle this bait. It's only rated for baits to 6 oz. what will happen if I continue to throw this bait? Will my rod break? Or will I just not be able to throw it as far?
  7. They will be here tomorrow! I will also throw them in my pool to see the rof
  8. Pulled the trigger. Bought a 12" and a 6".
  9. Great to see the bait being out to use!!!!!
  10. Jesse is awesome!!! Great guy to deal with and great communication
  11. I was going to go this route but I wanted something that would fit in my backpack. However, as you can see my way is limited on space. Going your route would give more room for baits and would be better for throwing in the truck like he wanted.
  12. I keep them hanging at the house but I had a crazy hot day where my tails got bent. I came home that day and built this. Material used is: plano box, wooden dowel, o-rings, swivel clips. My only suggestion is that you put a piece of thin foam in order to help with the noise of the baits hitting the box. This step isn't needed but it just bugged me...
  13. Two weeks and you already caught a fish?!? That's awesome. Took me a whole year to catch my first swimbait fish. I'm just a slow learner though
  14. Thank you. I was on the wrong monster tackle the first time
  15. Thank you for the update! Where did you find one if I may ask?
  16. Have a 12" X2 Slammer in Bass up for trade. Looking for Gill Baits or Glide Baits. Text me with questions and/or offers. 562)371-5714
  17. I think I will preorder one now. For the price it looks worth a try
  18. I haven't fished very manga 12" baits but this one looks pretty cool. What do you guys think?
  19. might as well carve them if you have the option. carve bigger scales if you do, about half inch size would be most realistic. gives the bait more depth that way. I agree. It's not as hard as you my think. Here's how I do it. Take an old screwdriver and cut a groove into the business end with a dremel tool or round file. Similar to a half circle. Try to get one edge sharp. Press it into your bait and move it left and right. Makes a pretty good scale tool. I use it for PVC. Also worked well in soft wood. I'll try it this way!!! Post pictures when I'm done
