I've been bass fishing since i could remember, but i never really used any bigger baits. Right before i left on an 8 month deployment i got the bug. So any free time went to lurking here and learning everything I could about fishing big swimbaits. i bought two set-ups and a bunch of baits while I waited to get back stateside. I'm currently stationed on the east coast so I went back to northern California with all my gear for two weeks of leave. I didn't have much confidence at first but after a few decent fish it was there. Here's a few of of the fish from the trip, nothing too big but still an awesome time.

Looks Great. how does it swim?

Once while bank fishing on a sketchy part of the river i found a wind-chime made out what looked like cat or raccoon bones and some dirty ass string. It was midway down an overgrown trail. needless to say i was outta there pretty quick.
