and it wasnt too sketch? haha my buddies is 365 and we have it at 500lbs (Me, him, trolling motor. battery and gear) without the outboard but it will only be 3-5hp plus gas tanks It was a little sketchy but the key is to balance out the load and keep everything centered.

Jon boat weight limits are nonsense. I was able to fit me (265 lbs), my boss (200 lbs) and a co-worker (350 lbs) plus gear, outboard and trolling motor in a 14 foot with a 450lb limit.

As you can see from an earlier post Id had a rough time starting out throwing swimbaits. The G2 is what caught my first fish on and it continues to produce. Ive caught anything from 4 pound bass to a bluegill the same size as the bait. Dead stick it, Wake it, Crank it down - It doesnt matter it catches fish.

Thanks for the the input "hookedup" Ive been on Vacation in SC for a little while and was messing around with the hudd shads and minnows in small ponds. I headed out this morning after getting back to.nova and hooked up with this little guy on the 68. Id like to go out and learn some stuff from you more experienced guys.

Im gonna focus on learning a few baits first. Your late to that game already lol. As for no trout being in your lake... Caught a lot of fish in that place on trouts. You want to catch numbers get out of there and hit the river. You want size stay up there. River you can also fish at night! "Oh ok" we may need to link up bro. Ive been sticking to gill and shad baits. I had one smack the @#$% out of my bull shad this morning but couldnt connect.
