    to be honest, I haven't put a lot of time in out there with swimbaits. I live in san diego and fish havasu 4 to 5 times a year and usually go conventional. I have had luck with the hardgill just about every time I throw it out there, but this was my first havasu glide fish. I've only thrown a wake Jr once out there at night for nothing, but we were anchored so other people could fish for catfish....I be it would work well though.

    Haven't had a lot of time lately to be out on the water but was able to throw some swimbaits yesterday at lake havasu. I was able to get one on a mattlures hardgill and also got this one on the hinkle shad. It felt good to get back out fishing again.

    I have few BGC baits including two 10.5s and the new 9in. they are high quality baits and Kevin is a good guy to deal with. like Jace said, the 10.5 has a smooth wide glide.
