I don't understand how I didn't help Don get a hard to find bait. I know I paid 180 for it but selling it that cheap is stupid. 325 is a very reasonable price. I think I did don a huge favor by selling at that price. Who knows what he would've paid.

yeah a 5-9oz rod wouldn't handle the mag x, i used the xxh parabolic for my mag x and mags, throws them both great along with the 250

bait flipping is something that you can't avoid, i think talking about it just gets people more pissed off. I sold one of my hinkle trouts to don for $325 when I only paid $180 for it, is that flipping? i fished it for a while and took a good profit, i could've sold it on ebay for $600 but i wanted a fellow member who's been in search of one to have it, i don't see anything wrong with that. I also traded a new Mother for 2 new OG slide swimmers when they were selling for $300+ on ebay, i took the best offer i got, don't see anything wrong with that either.

its definitely not something any of us want to see but I'm not going to hate someone for trying to make a little money. I only paid $180 each for my hinkle trout and shad and $275 for my Mother so I've never been on the wanting side of a jacked up price.

i always use the palomar or double palomar. I've never had a problem with the double palomar and braid. even with super slick

I've got the new NaCl 61. She's a thick girl for sure. Make sure you hold it on a rod before you get one online. I have big hands and it is hard to walk baits with it. It is a tank and casts a mile for sure. probably better off getting the 51 if you have small hands. it pulls in fish way smoother than my lexa 400 and calcutta D

Caught this one a couple nights ago paralleling the bank of a city park lake. Didn't weigh her but she was definitely over 5. Haven't fished many rats but this one is by far my favorite. Out fishes my Nez any day.
