I've seen some 4-5 pounders hanging around schools of fry and being aggressive to some of my baits but maybe they weren't actually garding them.... I was thinking about those bigger ones.

I don't know if this is helpful but you could try a lews superduty or one of their wide spool models, The superduty palms very nicely for me and I have smaller hands too. -

Selling a Daiwa air casting reel 7/10 cosmetically and I'd say functions 8/10. Not really a Swimbait reel but I've thrown 8" hudds no problem. Line through is 7", like new. Looking for 85$ Tyd for both. Email me at evanmann@att.net with any questions. Thanks!
