  1. I have a brand spanking new Hinkle Trout I've had for 3 or 4 years that has never been tied on or thrown. Perfect condition in box. $375 shipped
  2. Looking for 6" wood Punkers preferably custom painted. Let me know what you got. Thanks!
  3. Anyone out there have one they're willing to part with? PM or text me 3606300642 Thanks guys!
  4. None of them from shore...just pics on the shore Thanks guys. It's been a great spring. Dr. Watson and I have been at it for a long time. Always nice when hard work pays off for sure. I've been catching ones like that for a long time up here in Washington. I grew up in California fishing Lake Perris and used swimbaits from the day they came out. I used them up here for years since I moved up here in 2003, before anyone had any idea what they even were. I've definitely put in my time. My pb in my state is 11 pounds 2 ounces, shy of the state record by 7 ounces. Tag caught what we think is the same fish in the fall and it was 11-8. We relate these giant northern the same as the giant Florida strain 16+ fish. Just as rare, and just as hard to catch. Always an awesome feeling to get one this size, especially up here, and especially in a tournament. That's a PB for a tournament fish for me.
  5. Today was club tournament day out on Lake Samish. After a somewhat tough morning with only smaller fish, I headed to a different area of the lake and on my first cast up to a really good dock with a swim dock, logs, and pads, I nailed this postspawn 9.05 toad. At first I thought she was maybe a 6 or 7, but she was double wide! I imagine porked out before the spawn we weighed closer to 10. Anyways, I lost another one that was about 6-7, and had a few other followers. I had a total winning weight of 16.56 pounds (this club has a 3 fish limit). Biggest tournament fish I've ever caught, and the biggest fish I've caught out of that lake. So stoked right niw. Best 3 weeks of fishing I've ever had.
  6. Haha, I definitely do I had just picked up the Godzilla and was testing it out for the first time. Best action of any bluegill bait I've ever fished. Looking forward to sticking some more pigs with it!
  7. Yesterday I got to test out my new Godzilla and came up with a dandy. Fishing the dropoff of a long flat slow rolling it with pauses. The fish hit in about 6 feet of water and came off a price of wood. Slammed it hard after I started my retrieve after a pause. Also caught a little 3 pounder on it and had two other big followers, one easily over 10 pounds. At least I know where she's at for next time!
  8. Thanks again everyone. Took my son put again today and had another stellar day. Nothing like last week, but managed to get an 8 and a high 27 pound bag. I've been chasing trophies up here for a long time and was throwing swimbaits before Washingtonians even knew what they were. I grew up in California and started fishing swimbaits as soon as they started catching on back in 2000-2001. Ive caught many giant northern fish on other baits, but the swimbait has taught me so much about their behavior. Even if I only get a follower, they have shown me where they hang out. And knowing where they are is half the battle
  9. Went out with my son again today and while he slayed some trout, I had another great day. Got the big girl on a Mattlures bluegill. Saw the fish sitting in some pads from a distance and tossed the bluegill and swam it up to where it was and then deadsticked it. It sat there watching it, and after about a minute or so I went to inch it forward and it was stuck. I gave it a good pop to free it and as soon as it jerked free, it slammed it hard. Definitely a prespawn fish, although it was acting like a bed fish. Another great day to be out on the water!
  10. Just for clarification, my scale weighs in pounds/ounces, not in decimal point, so it was 8 pounds 15 ounces on a scale I know weighs light by several ounces. I need a new scale! Haha.
  11. It was 8 pounds 15 ounces. My scale weighs with the pounds/ounces, not decimal point just for clarification.
  12. I know! Going out tomorrow again. My biggest one up here was 11-2 several years ago. It's only a matter of time...
  13. Thanks everyone, I'm still beaming over this weekend. 66 pounds in 2 days with a 9 and 10 is about as good as it gets up here. Now if I could only catch that state record
  14. Best weekend I've had in a long time. Been waiting to fish this lake all spring and it just opened this weekend. 3 big swimbait fish, and a bunch of others on a 7" senko, jig, and 68 weedless hudd.
  15. Well, it looks like I lucked out again on the same lake. Just picked up a 10.5" Hiroshima glide from Brock yesterday after getting home from being out on the water all day, so I decided to give it a go again and try out my new bait. This was the only one I got on it, but it was a dandy. Had two followers off a swim dock, came back to it an hour later and immediately gave it a fast erratic retrieve once the bait reached the dock. The thing slammed it hard and I saw it happen. Love moments like that. On my scale it came up as 8-15, and I know for a fact my scale weighs light. At least I remembered to get the secret code in there this time. These pics are all un edited. Washington state.
  16. I know this isn't going to count since I forgot to take a scale pic with the Team Reject code, but this is a 10-3 washington state fish I got yesterday on an 8.5" Hiroshima glide. I was too excited and caught up in the moment to even think about getting the shot of the scale with the code. Cross posted in Got Em. This topped off a 36 pound bag.
  17. Haha, @ATFISHING1234, if he'd have been able to reel that sucker in, I'd be the one with the big smile he did catch some really nice trout that we released as well. Thanks guys! Days like today are usually just dreams for most fishermen. Glad to live it every once in a while!
  18. Top two are the 10-3 and bottom is the 7-0
  19. Season trout opener today, a bunch of lakes opened in Western Washington, so I took my son out to my favorite big bass haunt and came up big. While he fished for trout I threw a Hiroshima 8.5" trout which got the two biggest, a 7-0 and a rare double digit nothern Largie that topped out at 10-3...my first double digit fish in a few years. Also got them on a 7" wacky Senko, a jig, and a 68 weedless hudd. My best 5 were just over 36 pounds. Who says there's no big fish up north?
  20. @nadinesmom these are original 7.5" sliders. Probably at least 10 years old at least.. I'd get the date code out and find out, but the packaging should be sufficient. Proven giant catchers and no longer found in this setup. That's a fact. I just need some 68 weedless hudds or the funds to buy them, otherwise I'd keep them simply for collectors value. Problem is, I need baits to throw and these are too rare for me to want to throw. If you can find "new" sliders like this, send me a pic and I'll stand corrected.

Bought an 8" Hiro glide, exactly as described and seen in pics. Shipped it right away and sent the tracking right away. Pleasure to deal with. Thank you!!
  22. Forgot to mention, but as you can see, these are the old "OG" Sliders.
  23. Selling two LA Sliders 7.5" together, one brand new in box, the other used a couple times, the eyes are a bit faded. Make me an offer or trade proposition. Looking for weedless 68 hudds. Let me know what you got or cash offer.
