So im in the market for a deps 250, lol who isn't, and I had some questions about it. My first one is if a conversion is any worse then an original slide swimmer. second Does the conversion swim differently and have a different action. also on a side note should i wait for the new deps or should I get one now thanks, Moleman

Hey I recently bought a 8 inch wood punker off of tackle warehouse. Sadly on my first trip out I realized something was wrong with it. When I dropped it in the water I found out that it floated on its side and made it impossible to walk. I am well aware that not every wood bait will act the same but if I cant get the bait to walk like its supposed to it's useless in my tackle box. I already emailed Black dog baits with no responds, ( but it has only been three days). Hopefully there is something you guys can help me do to fix it or can give me info on black dog baits history with stuff like this so I don't waste my time trying to get a new one. Thanks, Moleman

I was just wondering if you cant find the color Deps you want if you could paint it. Not sure if this would be a good idea though because of the outside skin.

Hey guys so i"m slightly new to swim baits and I already checked out the beginners guide but I found myself looking at a lot of suggestions for smaller 6 inch baits. I have already been through that process and recently caught my fist 8 inch hudd fish but I want some more 8 inch up baits.Right now these are the baits Im considering. 1. 9 inch MS Slammer 2. ABT suicide Glide or Gancraft 230, not sure which one I want 3. Lunker punker G2 rattling 4. slow sink BBZ in rainbow trout Anything will help I live in Cali so I mainly use rainbow trout baits Thanks again, Moleman

has anybody heard anything about the new daiwa dx swimbait rod? i am new to swimbaiting and i wanted to get this rod because i heard nice things about it from icast 2014.
