Hello,
this is a northern pike that i catch on river Meuse, in France, with a 3D trout line thru 20cm (8"). The rod is a iRod "large swimbait" and the reel is a shimano cardiff 301A.
This pike is long 100cm (39,5").
Bonjour,

I research some info on the swimbait rod irod. I certainly order it on tacklewarehouse during the black friday. I hesitate between the jr swimbait and the large swimbait.

I use of the fluorocarbone varivas shock leader for 8 years with happiness.
But for this year, I also use a bottom line in titanium so that pikes do not get away to me the line.

Hello,
sorry for my poor English, but I live in France, near Verdun ( first world war 1914-1918 ), and it make 20 years that I finished the school !
My name is in christophe and I joined because I look for a stick for big swimbait.
I fish regularly for the "lake of Madine" and for the river the "Meuse", as well as the small river "Aire" which passes in my village.

Hello, why do you want to do this ?
I have only one 12" line thru but it swim very good !
What rod you use to throw in ? Me, i use one irod large swim, but it's very just in power. I shall have had to buy a jumbo swim.
