I use the BB1 pro for all my swimbaits. It holds plenty of 20lb CXX p-line. I also use the tournament mg for punkers and anything that can be thrown on braid.

I own the same rod, size heavy, and I really like it. Super light. The perfect rod for throwing a punker, triple trouts, and a wide range of baits. I've thrown the XH but I prefer the H. For some reason this line hasn't really caught on, sort of a sleeper hit. I've been considering grabbing another H to keep two rigged up.
Same here the heavy has a much better feel to me. I throw Deps 175s, punkers, and 8 inch hudds with ZERO issues. great rod for the price.

Let me see how my work week looks for next week. I might be able to get you out on the water. I live within 1-2 hours of Oroville, Bullards Bar, The Delta, and Clear Lake. If I can get a day off ill take you to whichever of those you would like.
Too bad its not this week im off tomorrow and Friday.

Send it to daiwa. They will either fix it or replace it.
+1 Daiwa is on point and will get you fixed up.

Are you trying to hit the delta or farther up north? Also are you looking to fish during the week or the weekend?

Looking to bit a triple trout, good condition.
Color? Size? might help your cause.

I don't get why people are bashing a bait that they have never seen or fished and because it does not cost a $ 100 plus it must not be any good Because it is made in China let's conclude that it is made using child labor even if we have no proof of that Apparently no adults work in China is that right ? Those who won't buy this bait because it's made in China, I have no problem with that. That said , do they buy any consumer products that are made in China or does this boycott only apply to swimbaits ? Just curious .
There are already several rat baits on the market in addition to Jerry Rago and to my eyes this does not seem to be a design copy but apparently it is not acceptable for Spro to offer one ? It's only acceptable for the garage bait makers ?
I've got this crazy idea, let's wait till the bait comes out. Despite the fact that is apparently is not a politically correct bait to buy in the drama fest known as the swimbait community I have no doubt there are going to be some immoral people that will have the audacity to buy one anyway or some high school kid who can't afford a 100$ plus custom made hand bait that will buy one of these baits. Just maybe this will turn out to be a great bait, maybe it will be a mediocre bait. Who knows at this point ? That said I think it might be better to render judgment on the merits of this bait after it's been out for a while but I'm crazy that way .
+1 Well said.

Make sure it's not a Deps 175 selling for $250!
I'm sure their is a few 175s at that price.

Last time I ordered from them it took a little while for it to arrive. About a week if I remember right and I'm in Sac
Same here. I'm two hours from them, yet it always take 5-10 days to get my order.

Hard bait= soft mold. Don't use POP for hard baits.
Bingo!

Positive stuff don. Great to see this sort of thing

I would give R2S a call. Customer service is pretty good, they will most likely replace it for you.

Punker only because I've caught 10 times more fish with it.
