  1. A matts hardgill heavy floater fished on fluoro is one of my favorites for fishing ponds at night. Especially this time of year. Stays close enough to the top, but still sits low enough to get those pickier fish to take interest. The heavy float lets you try a variety of retrieves to see if they want it burned or slow, all while staying in that same part of the water column generally. I like the darker patterns at night like jacked up, but that may just be a confidence thing for me. I always tend to fish darker patterns at night.

  2. As promised, putting up some more baits.

    1) Deps OG 250 SS butch brown bass - missing an eye, but otherwise in very good condition. Foil still looks great.

    2) Deps OG SS flash carp (not pictured) - **this is from a rare batch of floaters that was released. From my swim tests felt like more of an XSS.

    3) 3:16 BAA cranking in perch - excellent condition

    4) 3:16 hyper herring waking in green back (not pictured) - excellent condition

    5) 3:16 cranking herring in shiner (not pictured) - excellent condition

    6) 3:16 FS shad slow sink in golden shiner - excellent condition

    7) 3:16 FS gill in northern gill (limited pattern from a release Mickey did with baitwerks) - excellent condition

    8) bullshad 6" custom floater - excellent condition. Paint job is incredible on this one.

    9) Pats phat trout in golden trout - excellent condition

    10) pats OG wood perch - excellent condition

    11) Hiroshima 8.5" hardtail trout glide (not pictured) - excellent condition

    12) baitsmith mag in carp heavy floater - excellent condition

    13) pats mini trout - very good condition

PM or text me with offers (516 835 6246). Texts/messages with actual offers will get far more attention. Will try to put up additional pics at some point tonight for any baits not pictured.

  3. 2 Roman Made Souths and 1 Roman Made trick for sale.

As with my previous post on negotiators, just thinning out some backups and baits that weren't seeing water now that I have a baby girl on the way. Will be posting additional baits for sale over the next few days (Pats, Hinkle, Punkers, Deps, 3:16s, etc.). Feel free to PM me regarding what might be coming down the pipe.

    1) South in Fall Gill, BNIB

    2) South in US Gill, 9.5/10

    3) Trick in Dace, BNIB

PM reasonable offers. Take the lot for $350 shipped. Will post pics later tonight.

  4. Thinning out some of my backups. Have a baby girl on the way so need a little extra cash to prepare for that.

    Three negotiators for sale:

    1) BNIB negotiator in oikawamesu

    2) 9.5/10 negotiator CUSTOM (I.e. Top hook) in perch, very small imperfection near the joint that is barely noticeable

    3) 9/10 alumni negotiator, just some very light rash, loaded with silencers

All three come with the roman made boxes as well. Have a few tricks and souths I might put up as well, and maybe a few extra negotiators.

PM reasonable offers. We can include PayPal fees in whatever price we agree on. Also, if anyone wants the entire lot, I would do it for $460.

  5. A weedless rising son is a great option for bank fishing in stained water. You can throw it into some very nasty cover. Parallel casts along the bank or along drop offs have also been productive for me. I know that's pretty basic thinking, but I try not to over complicate things when bank fishing. Weedless rising son gets bit, and has become my confidence bait for sure.

  6. When my bum shoulder will allow, a good 85% of the time I'm fishing the WRS these days. Then bait is just a really good fit for a lot of the places I fish. I throw it on an LDC H white label paired with a Z2020H spooled with 20lb tatsu. The mistake I made for a long time was spending all available cash on baits. Reinvesting that money into a solid setup has made a world of difference for me. For what it's worth, this setup has also worked nicely for glides in the 2-4 oz range like the negotiator and SS 175. I'm able to cast accurately and with distance, and fatigue (which is unfortunately a factor for me these days) isn't as bad. I personally prefer fluoro for all of the baits you mentioned, especially the glides.
