My friend owns the okuma big bait rod. It is a good swimbait rod for the angler on a budget in my eyes. But if your not the doybns 806 is a great rod. I do not think having the 807 would overpower anything.

I love the MLSB806 for them. I also throw my mag on it just fine. My buddy throws his 250 on it too.

I'm 6 foot and for whatever I just have really long, skinny arms. This rod is very balanced and helps me a lot. I hope you find one bro! You might just need to try tackle warehouse on the next sale they have. Thats what I did.
