Swimbait Underground is an incredible forum for many reasons. A little over a year ago I got to talking to a member(YELOSUB) on here after a bait trade. We kept in touch quite often after the trade, talking baits, fishing, family and life. Needless to say, we became pretty friends. This weekend I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days fishing with Tim out on his local waters. I knew Tim was a stick, but i was taken back by the wealth of knowledge that he possesses. Despite the cold temps, gale force winds, and complete lack of sleep(you know what I'm talking about Tim!), he figured out the game plan within a few hours and we stuck with it for most of the trip. Tim put two fat fish in the boat, back to back casts(my GoPro magically deleted that footage and I've been hearing about it ever since lol). Throughout the rest of the day, I had so many opportunites but never connected. The last day of my trip, he took me back to the same lake to try to get me on a good one. The wind was blowing even harder that day and the conditions made it tough to fish the way we wanted to. But in the end, Tim got me on a solid fish and more importantly, I learned so much about fishing this specific swimbait and targeting certain areas. I haven't had this much fun fishing in a long time. If any of you guys are wanting to fish AZ, you might want to talk to this guy. Tim, thank you so much for having me out to fish and hang. I'm extremely grateful for the time you took out of your crazy schedule to get me on new waters, old friend. Now I need to return the favor. See you soon brother. A few pics from the trip.
