    Got mine at fred hall show fished it this weekend it swims nice rolls a bit when twitched hard but rights itself up. My favorite part about this bait is the way it sinks and sits on the floor. Like a trained dog sits upright and looks like a real gill just sitting still. Perfect for bed fish if you fish for them

    Im using a xxh 8'3 ldc and it launches hudds i will be throwing mags on this also once I buy one. also a okuma gs 711 xh that I used to use for that, the gs is good but the ldc launches it.so.much further. Might be a little.overkill but it feels really good paired with my conquest 400 no worries about not setting the hook hard enough

    Can you explain what you mean by cranking power. Is it just the gear ratio that you are feeling giving you more power or is it something else

    I've been hearing that they don't have as much torque as the older models anybody have any experience with that. Maybe the gear ratio has something to do with that

    What's up guys looking for any opinions on the new conquest vs the older model. I have the older model and thinking of getting a new one. I've held the new one at the store and it feels crazy but I wanna hear what people have to say that have actually fished both. I searched the forum didn't really see too much info comparing them.

    Change it out to full mono I used to snap off all that time with a leader since ive switched I've only snapped off once due to a bad knot even with a birdsnest my baits have stayed on

    got the 12 its actually only about 10 inches its not so bad to throw my guide select xh handles it no problem hadn't used the 9 though but I've caught plenty of fish on the bigger one
